Duante Wright Sr. shooting could have been avoided
The senseless death of 20 year old Duante Wright Sr. is yet another tragedy that could have been prevented. After all the other shootings in recent years that have brought us to this point and all the discussions, here we are again. The image of this handsome young man with his son Duante Jr. is heartbreaking to look at. Here is a child in his father's arms. A little boy named for his dad and who is clearly loved and cherished. Now he will grow up as a statistic of being another little boy without his father in his life.

The average working American is thankful for a yearly salary of 5 figures annually. The richest among us within our society however are billionaires which is a financial status that most of us cannot even consider attaining. One of the most famous billionaires of all time was Howard Hughes who began making his fortune at the age of 18 through his father's oil drilling business. His earnings increased thanks to Hughes Aircraft Company, property in Los Vegas Nevada, RKO Pictures Corporation, and a controlling interest in Trans World Airlines.

'The Bold and the Beautiful' spoilers: Thomas seeks revenge and Hope suspects the truth about Vinny's murder
Spoilers for The Bold and the Beautiful from Soap Dirt indicate that things are about to become complicated for Thomas and Hope. They went together to the morgue on Monday where Finn was waiting with the dead body of Vincent Walker. Thomas became emotional as he identified the body of his childhood friend. He did not agree with Vinny changing the results of the paternity test but he does not think he deserved to die such a gruesome death. Thomas acknowledged that all of Vinny's actions were done in order to help him. He vowed revenge and spoilers suggest that it may be Hope who helps fill in the blanks.

Maurice Evans' spectacular character on ‘Bewitched’
Maurice Evans was an English actor who was born in Dorchester, Dorset, United Kingdom. He was best known for portraying Samantha's father, Maurice on the television series Bewitched. He was an urbane thespian, and the only warlock in the House of Lords. Most of the time Maurice made dramatic and exaggerated, entrances and exits by quoting Shakespearean verse. He was the estranged husband of Samantha’s mother Endora and the two had a unique yet humorous dynamic between them. There were threats of divorce but it never took place.

When the tears won’t stop
I recall that in the 1980’s a neighbor had a stroke and died. One of graduation daughters still lived at home and took it pretty hard. For about 6 months on 3 or 4 random occasions this young woman would let out a wail in church and cry. I felt so bad for her and several times I would go and give her a hug. She obviously loved her mother and was heartbroken over her death. I’ve always been one who easily got over death and moved on. This was true of my brother, mother, and grandmother. I loved them but did not have a relationship where their deaths weighed heavily on my mind.

Fans of The Young and the Restless are showing themselves to be pretty restless where Rey Rosales is concerned, On social media platforms, those who watch the CBS daytime drama are expressing themselves regarding Sharon's husband. The overall consensus seems to be that Paul's protegee needs a refresher course to sharpen his skills. Spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry reveal that on Tuesday, Rey is going to grill Chelsea. This is because Sharon is insisting to him that Ms. Lawson is faking her medical condition.

Cameron Matheson and Sydney Walsh join cast of 'General Hospital'
General Hospital has hired 2 new actors, Cameron Matheson and Sydney Walsh to the cast. Many fans are still reeling from the fact that 4 characters that viewers enjoyed were let go recently. Julian, Dustin, Lulu, and Dev were given their walking papers, and now the powers that be are hiring additional people. Sydney Walsh debuted last week as Maggie, the cellmate of Alexis Davis in Pentonville. It's not known yet if she will turn out to be a friend or a foe. On Friday, Maggie was working on some papers and Alexis, who was an attorney let her know that she could help her.

'The Young and the Restless' spoilers' Genoa City residents at the mercy of Ashland and Chelsea
Ashland tries to take over Celeb Dirty Laundry spoiler alerts reveal that two masterminds will be busy trying to control Genoa City residents this week on The Young and the Restless. Ashland Locke and Chelse Lawson will set things in motion to obtain their desired goals but their plans might hit a snag. Jack is going to find out that Kabot is under attack and his first instinct will be to blame the man whose wife slept with his son. It has not yet been revealed of Ashland knows that Kyle and Tara had an affair or if he suspects or even realizes that Harrison is not his son.

Michael Easton's amazing and versatile career
Michael Easton currently portrays doctor Hamilton Finn on ACB's General Hospital where his character just found out that his younger brother is really his son, Dr. Finn slept with his father's fiance the night before the wedding and DNA shows Detective Chase is his child instead of his sibling. The talented actor was born on February 15, 1967 in Inglewood, California and is Irish-American. In addition to being a soap opera veteran he is also a writer and director. Easton was raised and educated in the both the US and Ireland and attended high school and then UCLA when he returned to the United States.

Meghan Markle could learn a lot from the life of Wallis Simpson
There is one really huge lesson that Meghan Markle could have learned from Wallis Simpson and that was to not speak negatively about the Royal Family. It's too late for that now but perhaps there are other things that Prince Harry's wife can learn from the woman who dethroned a king. Edward VIII was destined to become king of England but fell in love with American socialite Simpson who was a divorcee. He abdicated his throne and chose love. He and Wallis Simpson married and lived in America.

Prince Phillip the Duke of Edenburgh
Prince Phillip the Duke of Edinburgh has died at age 99. There were plans underway for his 100th birthday but he did not make it. Let's take a look at his life through just a few of the photos that were taken of him over the decades. Phillip and Elizabeth were distant cousins who met when they were very young and married in 1947. Phillip was the longest serving member of the Royal family until he stepped down from his official duties in 2017.

Chelsea and Sharon kick things into high gear on 'The Young and the Restless'
Those who enjoy The Young and the Restless are eager for current storylines to be resolved. The Shaddam/Chaddam drama is becoming tiring and fans want it to end. Viewers are tired of the bickering over Adam Newman and are saying on social media that they want new storylines. Next week on The Young and the Restless both Sharon and Chelsea put their plans into motion regarding Adam. Ms. Lawson took the first step when she let Nick know that she could speak. Nate is going to be called in and Chelsea will be trying to contain her friend and keep her from going too far. Meanwhile, Sharon tells all to Rey and begs him to believe that Adam is innocent. She will even tell her husband where Adam is hiding but when Rey arrives he will not be able to find him.
