Get your telescopes ready because the heavens are about to provide yet another spectacular feat. A strawberry moon is coming but you might be surprised at how this name originated. Many times we pass names, phrases, and slogans down through the generations without ever knowing the origin. The night sky has been revealing many wonders to those of us on the earth. From a lunar eclipse to a partial solar eclipse to supermoons, 2021 been an unusual year for lunar events.The month of June marks the year's final supermoon, with a full "strawberry" moon that will illuminate next week’s night sky.

Solving puzzles and playing word games brings inner peace
Over the years I have enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and doing word searches. I’ve also found peace and contentment by playing Solitaire on my phone. I have noticed during the past few years that such activities help me focus and gives me a sense of inner peace. I have also taken notice that when I check my blood pressure after such activities that it is always significantly lower than before. I love choosing a word and then trying to find as many other words from the letters as possible. For example, I will use the word Christmas.

'General Hospital' spoilers say Cameron Mathison will portray Drew Cain
The identity of Cameron Mathison's character on GENERAL HOSPITAL has been kept tightly under wraps. It has been suggested that he might be mob boss Vincent Novak but Mattheson does not seem the type to play such a role. There has also been speculation that he would become Drew Cain raised from the dead. Now, spoilers are saying that "reliable sources" have confirmed that Cameron will show up in Port Charles as Drew but viewers know not to believe everything that is in print.

Billy and Victoria's twisted mind games heat up on "The Young and the Restless'
For a while, on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS it seemed that Billy Abbott and Lily Winters made a really cute couple and it was driving Victoria mad. Vicki made up excuses to show up at Chance Com, and even pretended she was trying to keep her father from destroying the company that Jill left in the hands of Bil-Ly. Victor Newman's daughter even told her dad to back off when he was certain that Billy had shot Adam. Vicki continued to be protective of her ex even though he had moved on with Lily.

Tara tries to strong arm Summer on ‘The Young and the Restless’
Tara thinks she is in control Next week on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Tara Locke puts all her cards on the table with Summer Newman. In decades gone by this woman would have been considered a shameless hussy. Thanks to Sally Spectra Tara is channeling all of her inner demons and determined to run Summer away from Genoa City. Mrs Locke will tell Sumner flat out that she needs to get out of the way so that she, Kyle, and Harrison can bond. She adds that her son needs 2 loving parents and her meaning is clear.

Maurice Benard gives hints about Carlson's future on 'General Hospital'
GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers have been overwhelmingly vocal about not liking the Mike and Nina storyline. Maurice Benard, who portrays these characters has stated on several occasions that he is enjoying this new twist and stretching as an actor. Those who watch the ABC soap want Sonny back in Port Charles with Carly but based on a recent tweet by Benard, this may not happen any time soon. Disgruntled fans can only sit back and watch this play out for as long as it takes.

'General Hospital' rumor mill suggests Laura Wright might be leaving
The rumors regarding Laura Wright began even before Wes Ramsey departed GENERAL HOSPITAL. Fans were curious as to whether or not the popular actress would remain on the ABC soap or follow her boyfriend of 4 years out the door. Now, spoilers are discussing the possibility of Wright's exit but at this point it is only speculation and nothing may come of it. Even so, this is big news and social media is buzzing about the possibility.

The night I experienced culture shock
When my husband and I had been married for only a few years, he began taking me to nightclubs on the weekends I felt at home because the other couples and individuals who frequented these clubs were for the most part working-class black folk having a good time just like us. I enjoyed dressing up, fixing my hair and makeup, and going out with my spouse. Around 1987 my husband started going out alone on occasion or with my youngest brother.

A high school pep rally gave me one of the greatest social shocks of my life
I entered high school at age 14 and was not prepared for what was about to happen to me. In order to get to the story let me give you the background. I was 5 feet 5 inches tall and about 85 pounds. I was the only African American student who was tall, skinny, light-skinned, and extremely shy. I felt awkward and out of place because no other black girls looked like me. The white girls came in all shapes and sizes but out of about 30 black girls in the school, I was the only one who looked like me.

Jeff Kober is out as Cyrus on 'General Hospital'
It's time for Port Charles residents to begin picking up the pieces of their lives and moving forward. Soap Dirt has confirmed that Jeff Kober is out at least for now on GENERAL HOSPITAL. For viewers who were weary of Kober's character destroying lives, this is great news. Once Peter August was dealt with fans of the ABC daytime drama began bracing themselves that the end for Cyrus was near and they were correct.On Wednesday his character Cyrus Renault was taken from GH and being sent to a prison hospital. As he was leaving he stated to Laura that she would see him again so there is a chance that the bad guy could return in the future. His reign of terror is over but there is fallout all over the place that will take time to heal from.

Michael Ralph portrayed numerous characters on 'A Different World'
Michael Ralph was recycled on A Different World If the name Michael Ralph does not ring a bell, his older sister, actress Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary) might be more familiar. Michael's face, however, might bring back memories from A Different World which ran on NBC from 1987-1993.
