My Review of "Hard Ball"
Hard Ball is an underdog baseball movie that came out in 2001. 20 years ago things were quite different from what they are today. So you'll see a lot of things here that people today kind of complain about. As a movie itself it's kind of a paint by numbers story but still enjoyable.

My Review of "The Suicide Squad (2021)"
The Suicide Squad (2021) is a movie I actually didn't think would ever come out. When Suicide Squad (2016) came out I was pretty indifferent about the movie. That movie received a ton of backlash from fans and the studios. Nobody ever imagined that they'd attempt to do another one. Yet here we are with this newest iteration of the movie. I have a confession to make... it was actually pretty good.

My Review of "The Tomorrow War"
Tomorrow War is one of the latest 2021 Amazon Prime exclusive titles. In some ways I'm pretty impressed with this movie. There are elements of this movie that scream big budget blockbuster movies. On the other hand some of those same big budget blockbuster elements are also its downfall. Regardless, I think it's a pretty good summer flick for those looking for some action.

My Review of "Freaky"
Freaky is a horror movie that came out in 2020. It's got a very silly and fun premise that lead me to think this was a remake of the 2002 movie "The Hot Chick". Even though it's technically a horror movie I found that there were probably more laughs. Fortunately these moments of comedy are meant to be in there and not because the movie is taking itself too seriously.

My Review of "Fatman"
Fatman came out quietly last year in 2020. I thought it was a fun concept but I didn't think that it was worth paying full price of admission to watch it. Recently it's been added to the Amazon Prime streaming service so I gave it a try. I wasn't wrong about this movie.

My Review of "A Quiet Place: Part II"
A Quiet Place: Part II came out in 2020 but was lost in the shuffle of the pandemic. This story kind of hits a little close to home as the survivors of the alien invasion have been living in isolation just as long as we've lived in this current pandemic. Still there's a light at the end of the tunnel just as we feel right now after the 3rd wave of lockdowns.

My Review of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack"
Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack a movie that came out in 1988. It came out a number of years after the Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters in Space. Luckily this does follow the storyline of the original trilogy however it's a lot different this time around.

My Review of "Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters in Space"
Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters in Space is the third film of the trilogy Gundam movies. It's just as long as the previous two movies but a no holds barred version. What I mean by that is that this movie has a ton of twists and turns that you might not have expected the series to go. The first two Gundam movies established a lot of lore that this movie relishes in throwing back at you.

My Review of "Loki: Season One"
Loki: Season One was probably one of the last character who I thought would get a TV series on Disney plus. Mainly because he's been a villain throughout the Marvel universe. Although his last few appearances in the Marvel movies he was starting to warm up to Thor and seemed like he had a good side.

My Review of "Katamari Damacy REROLL (PS4)"
Katamari Damacy REROLL (PS4) came out in 2020 just 16 years after the original had come out. Only recently was it put on sale on the PlayStation Network Store. At $15 Canadian I couldn't pass it up because I had so many fond memories with this game. Plus it was an easy way to score more PlayStation trophies. Yes I'm that guy that collects trophies...

My Review of "Summer Of Soul (...Or, When The Revolution Could Not Be Televised)
Summer of Soul (...Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) is a piece of American history that has been swept under the carpet until now. It speaks about the Harlem Soul Festival of 1969. The footage of the festival was recorded and thousands of people were in attendance. It makes you wonder how and why this festival went unnoticed for over 50 years!

My Review of "Mobile Suit Gundam II: Soldiers of Sorrow"
Mobile Suit Gundam II: Soldiers of Sorrow is the continuation of the Mobile Suit Gundam series. The first movie was a little long but it was only to introduce us to many of the characters of the series. Now that we're into the sequel the series can go right into stories and action without too much explanation. As a result we have a much faster flowing movie and one that is more exciting than the first.
