My Review of "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials"
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials is a sequel that came out in 2015. Although it's very beneficial for you to have watched the first Maze Runner movie, I don't think it is totally necessary. This movie feels quite different from the first movie but the relationships that were built in the first movie remain in this movie.

My Review of "Speed"
Speed came out in 1994 and at the time of its release I thought it was a dumb idea. It was pretty popular back in those times. I guess I didn't see the appeal so I never watched it. My small mind couldn't comprehend how this movie could be an exciting action film. Fast forward to 2021 I finally caved and watched the movie. After watching it, I have to admit I'm kicking myself for not watching it earlier.

My Review of "Fatherhood"
Fatherhood is the latest 2021 exclusive release from Netflix. It also happens to be Kevin Hart's latest movie. We've seen him go into more serious roles lately starting from "The Upside". Here Kevin pushes the boundaries of his abilities yet again. It's becoming quite apparent that he's trying to reach and see what's beyond the horizons for his career. I think it's a great approach to keep up with his ever evolving life.

My Review of "Mobile Suit Gundam"
Mobile Suit Gundam is a movie that came out back in 1981. I haven't ever seen this anime movie until recently but I had read the novels back in high school. I remember loving the three part novel series but that was back in the 90s. After reading those novels I always wanted to see the anime series but I never had access to them. Recently the movies had popped up on Netflix and I finally got a chance to check them out.

My Review of "The New Mutants"
The New Mutants had finally come out in 2020. It came out at time when there was pretty much nothing out there because of the pandemic. That's why I'm curious why this movie doesn't get so much love from a lot of comic book fans. I'm looking at the young adults in particular because this is a movie definitely geared toward them.

My Review of "Salvage Kings: Season 1 and 2"
Salvage Kings was introduced to me sometime this year by my brother. He loves these shows where they find old things where they least expect them and profit off of these finds. Needless to say we've watched through Storage Wars for a long time until we found out that a lot of the treasures they found in the storages were planted. Then we watched a lot of American Pickers as well as Pawn Stars. It was all cool and all but living in Canada we didn't see too many based in Canada.

My Review of "The Fifth Element"
The Fifth Element is kind of a nostalgic classic movie to me. I was around 17 at the time of the movie first came out and I guess I was pretty much the demographic this movie was aiming for. It definitely shows this through some of the sequences in this movie that didn't age particularly well. Now in 2021, I've bought this movie probably the 3rd time in yet another video format, 4k Blu-ray.

My Review of "Luca"
Luca is the latest Pixar full feature length animated movie in 2021. It wasn't too long ago that the movie Soul had come out and we're already treated to another Pixar movie. It certainly comes to no surprise that Pixar has pretty much mastered the coming of age storyline. All of their movies talk about growth of an individual. Each movie however has a different tone and spin to it.

My Review of "Lupin: Part II"
Lupin: Part II is the second half of the season one. With so many TV shows under its belt, Netflix has to make some tough decisions when green lighting shows. Some shows don't get to continue and end off with cliffhangers. Lupin is a little different from the rest. It had us all hooked from the very beginning. It was inevitable that the second part was going to come out but who knew it would come out so soon.

My Review of "Kajilionaire"
Kajilionaire was a movie that came out in 2020. It came out so quietly that not a lot of people heard about it. I remember seeing a trailer for this movie a while back but never got a chance to watch it until now. I liked the premise of the movie and was startled at how much substance this movie had in the end.

My Review of "Awake"
Awake is one of Netflix's latest 2021 movie releases. I gained some interest from reading outline of what the movie was about. Unfortunately, there are a lot of inconsistencies throughout the movie that kind of makes the movie fall flat for me. It's too bad because they did have a very interesting concept but if you can't stick to your own rules then things get kind of muddy for me. I know how difficult it is to write sci-fi movies. At least we got a new sci-fi movie this year.

My Review of "Young Rock: Season 1"
Young Rock is a semi fictional and semi-non-fictional tale of the Rock, Dwayne Johnson. It's a new TV series that came out on NBC in 2021. It has a lot of elements that remind me of the writing from "Fresh off the Boat." Since I liked Fresh off the Boat you can probably tell that I really enjoyed this season.
