The obliteration of alliteration Waiting for liberation Through visitation Living in stagnation The harsh realities of our society
Where does the trash go Down into the depths Or off to the shallows We will never know It leaves our home for the curb
The end of one world Is the beginning of another Like a child Slipping from its mother Life is a journey Of yearning We used to live
The lingering, tingling feeling Of when you’re not here The sensation of your presence Still felt Like a welt on my psyche
Trying to collect money Is like trying to catch sand The more you have The less it fits in your hand There will never be enough time to collect it all

I’m on a journey A journey of yearning Is this something I’ve been earning So many days have past Full of reflection Wondering what direction I’m going
I used to marinate myself in emotion Now I sit here numb It’s not that bad really Just strange Feels like all has drained from my brain
Love me Love me now Love me later Love me drunk on happiness Love me sober on hard times Don’t ever let this be over
