A story worth telling 🖤
I could write an entire book on what you were supposed to do and you’ll find ways to misread it on purpose. I could spell out every sentence from memory

When I was little, I had only the words of the lives before me to know what being a woman was, I built my foundation on their fights and their bloodshed and became unbreakable,
It was easy thinking that we were endgame and I had won every challenge thrown at me, then the final boss came you and ran away; expected me to keep fighting for us,
My heart races every time I see your name, I lose all the words I was taught to speak when you say my name, and I am completely under your spell.
My heart is now black from the fire you created, you constantly threw the gasoline but getting called out, it wasn't me, all so innocently.
Finding the ways out of a realm that does not see me, emptying the load that ways down the soul hoping peace prevails. Broken apart on a road less traveled on,
I met you at your lowest, your heart being torn to pieces by someone who no longer wanted you a part of their story, but chose to be a coward.
I have thought and over thought every path, every possible option, and every way that we ended up here. How I feel I’ve lost a part of my soul that met its other half,
You chose a path that didn't lead to me, was that always what you wanted; anything but me? You don't want me, but don't want me with anybody other than you,
Written in the stars; read by cards, we're all made with a fated destiny. Death; rebirth it's all in how you frame the picture.
Angels no longer in endless pain, dancing free no chains holding them
You're always at the corner of my eye, peeking through when you think I can't see. You claim you're in love, but does she know it's not with her?
