It was easy thinking that we were endgame and I had won every challenge thrown at me,

then the final boss came you and ran away; expected me to keep fighting for us,

but what about me?

I thought you would heal me when I needed,

but you abandoned our game and chose to start a different game,

an easier one without any battles to fight.

And here I am willing to build us a home, a farm, a life

while you chose your fantasy land that’s prebuilt.

Would it have been easy for us to play that game instead?

but I want the custom made kind of love

one that I will fight every boss level for.

Aww 😢, we can’t always have what we want, can we? And not everybody deserve to be fight for. Lovely poem.
