Finding the ways out of a realm that does not see me,
emptying the load that ways down the soul
hoping peace prevails.
Broken apart on a road less traveled on,
a hidden image behind a reflection that has known its image for a long time,
everything is new.
Let each burden fall off,
one
by
one
as if they never happened,
but the lessons prevail.
Undoing yesterday's sorrows and findings of tomorrow's that are brand new.
Make me a tree, the branches be my new life
one that I chose to live,
one that I chose to be happy in.

Congratulations on Top Story🥳🥳🥳🥳Loved your poem💕
Congrats on the Top Story! I love the Robert Frost reference in this and your format choices. The separate lines for "one / by / one" really adds a visual to the metaphor you're using of burdens falling like leaves.
