The Wonderful Art Of Allan Kirk
Some Absolutely Beautiful Watercolours

Introduction
Over a year ago, I joined The Friends Of The Glittering Fox Facebook Group, which you can visit here:
The reason I joined was because I became friends with Angie Livingstone (The Glittering Fox), and I have written poems inspired by her artwork, which I share in the group.
When I dropped into the group, I kept seeing some amazing pictures by the artist Allan Kirk. You can visit his Facebook Page here:
The Wonderful Art Of Allan Kirk
Allan shares some amazing watercolours and line drawings, and they make you feel you are actually there, without being photographic. The pictures have a wonderful je ne sais quoi and made me feel I wanted to write something inspired by them.
This is the latest one that I saw:

While I could attempt a story here, I am not sure what it would be, and then I thought, why not just share some of Allan's incredible work in the Vocal Art community?
I contacted him to ask if I could write an article featuring his work, and he was very amenable to it. He is a very pleasant guy to chat with.
This is magical, you almost feel you are there, even though you know it is a watercolour.

I am just sharing a few pictures Allan has shared in The Plittering Fox Group. This one makes me want to go in and explore the Chateau

I will conclude this piece with this Parisian beauty, but if you want to see more of Allan's art, please visit his Facebook page or The Friends of The Glittering Fox Group.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy Allan's art as much as I do.
The music is "Claire De Lune" by Johann Debussy (no relation to Claude).

What great pictures from this artist. Looking forward to your poetry and/or stories using them. Good job.
Thanks for featuring this artist, Mike. You're right, you feel like you are there with his watercolour depictions - or as with the Collioure piece I felt like I had to hop on a plane and go! Lovely work.
A brilliant artist. Love this article about Allan's work. You've chosen some beautiful pieces.
These are all magnificent, Mike. How do you keep finding these wonderful artists?
His work DOES provide an excellent backdrop, Mike. He's talented.
