The Vocal Sensational II Challenge

Introduction

I almost always complain about short-form Vocal Challenges and then find myself submitting my entries and adding to the flood of entries. My subscribers must get annoyed by entries when they see them in their notifications, so I apologise that I am unable to control myself.

I am lucky that I can write about almost anything almost every day, and you know what the reason is for that.

So How Do I Justify Myself?

The video I have chosen for this may result in a Sensational II poem.

Although the form is short I try and add extras to make it a little harder for for myself. I did one in which I used a single word for each line, which may be the ultimate short form, but the others I have done as themed Acrostics with ABABA rhyme schemes and a fixed number of syllables per line.

Given that the format and subject are fixed, five lines that take in the five senses it can not be extended, although it could be turned into a prose poem that then becomes a long-form rather than short form, and my last one was also an accidental piece of Plagiaristic Poetry.

I have been impressed by a lot of the entries so far and think I have influenced one or two, so I am happy in what I have done so far.
