The Forty-Ninth Vocal Community
Something I Noticed
Introduction
Over the last however long I have been assuming there are forty-eight Vocal communities that you can post in, but looking through what I had written I found number forty-nine.
The Forty-Ninth Vocal Community
I was actually wondering what my story spread was across the Vocal communitites and I am sure that everyone Creator's top community will be poets:
When I checked, my last poem was number 986 in the community. Hopefully, I will publish something appropriate for my thousandth. About 240 have found their way into my published anthologies, although I am considering putting together some of my fiction series for my next project.
But as I traipsed through the communities I have published in (and I have published in all 48) I came across two of my stories in community number 49 which is Resources, oddly placed between Viva and Wander:
The thing is you cannot submit a story to Resources, you have to have your story chosen by Vocal. If you click the link directly above you will see my stories in that Vocal Community.
Conclusion
In VSS we feature stories from four Vocal Communities each week, but Resources would mess that up, but it is chock full of useful information so check it out here:
There may be more Vocal Communities to come but personally I feel we have too many now and some could be consolidated, but I have mentioned that several times before.
I included "Community Of Hope" by Polly Jean Harvey which is sort of appropriate because for many of us Vocal is a Community of Hope.
I know essentially I have just been highlighting an invite only Vocal Community, but thank you so much for reading.

I really thought there was a brand new community π π I didn't realise they added Resources in. It's a bummer we can't submit to that because you have soooo many pieces that should be included there
Well now, Eagle-Eye- that's new! I think it must have been recently added to the listing, don't you? I know I slide that listing back and forth several times a week- I hope I'd have noticed it!
It is a great goal to try and post in all communities for practice. Although some may prefer to work on their style only to keep improving.
I feel like I need to try posting in more communities! Maybe a good 2025 goal? It would probably help expand my reach.

Ah, Resources! Of course. Was trying to depuzzle the puzzle of what the missing community was. Resources feels like a place they'd never welcome a Paul piece lol. I've never bothered trying, though, but your writing is great for Resources. Enjoyed this little piece, Mike! Thank you!
Love that! Didn't even notice that there were so many communities. Maybe I should make it my goal to write in all of the communities in 2025. Lol π.
