The Accidental Vocal Icon

I've been meaning to write this for ages but I feel like I'm bad at reviews so just be warned that my lack of review skills don't reflect on the quality of his book :)

Being a lollie addict, I like to think of the poetry collection as a bag of party mix. You never know what you'll get next, a sad poem, a happy poem, a fun/ humerous poem or a serious poem. It's like Russian Roulette, except you don't know if the bullet will be made of confetti or melancholy and so on.

Since I don't know how to do a normal review, I'm just going to be sharing my favourite poems and the link to the poem on Vocal.

My Favourites:

1. How to Forgive Yourself - Recipe - Serves 1 [This is one of my absolute favourites of his and I promise I'm not just biased because he entered it in one of my unoffical Vocal Challenges (and won). I was so excited to see it in the book. No amount of rereads are enough for me.]
2. I Want You to Know [This is also one of my favourites of all time. He posted this on Vocal right when I needed it and I can't explain how important it is to me.]
