Shoutout
I tried to be heartless, and here is what happened
You know when the shit hits the celing and life is an absolute mess everywhere, yeah that is what I am talking about. My existence has had 22 years on this gorgeous — gorgeous mortal realm and in the recency of my being, my life has sucked a lot. I have had my share of darkness since forever, but of late, my desperation for light has been at its zenith. I have wanted my life to look like the glorious lives of Rory gilmore, an academic scholar, while being the perfect 4.0, a beautiful boyfriend( maybe not necessary), a great deal of money, a stellar institute I go to, a high qualified job in writing or journalism, and parents being super proud of me.

Sixty Cents For A Hundred Reads
Introduction On page eight of my stats, I have four stories with a hundred read, each of which has given me sixty cents from Vocal. This is just some thoughts about where most of my reads come from (I still don't know), and how reads often stagnate after the initial publication on Vocal. I recently wrote a story in a similar area here:

The Price of Survival: What the Rich Will Never Understand…
Dear Readers, There’s a kind of exhaustion that doesn’t go away with rest. A kind of frustration that builds over years of trying, sacrificing, and pushing through a life that demands everything while offering very little in return.

You Can't Argue With A Sick Mind
Introduction This is just a piece to give you ideas to write about when the challenges are not there or don't do it for you. There is always something to write about for everybody, although sometimes you may want to do something else, and that is fine.

When performance is measured against curated feed of perfection
Have you been to a performance review that inevitably ends up comparing you to popular Joe, charismatic Jackie or high performing Jack? Most formal performance reviews have sections where employees are compared sideways against peers within and outside their departments. Definition of a “peer” here is largely determined by a line manager who is assumed to have the power of veto to be able to understand the term, its correct application and most importantly the ramifications of its misuse. The review fails to appreciate that the line manager is just another fallible human being with no previous “human psychology” training.

The Power and Paradox of Kneeling: Submission, Authority, and Worship
The act of kneeling, a gesture both ancient and enduring, carries profound significance across historical and modern contexts. It intertwines themes of submission, power dynamics, and worship, creating a complex tapestry of human experience. When we kneel, we communicate more than a mere physical posture; we express a dynamic interplay between humility, acknowledgment of authority, and an intimate connection to something greater than ourselves. Within this exploration, kneeling reveals its duality; both as a symbol of subjugation and as an act of liberation through love and faith.

Enhancing The Longevity Of Our Work
Introduction Last week I created a story about how to get on Vocal's Leaderboard but it was hit by a situation that happens with so many of our stories, after a few hours it drops off the lists and then doesn't get read again. The only way we usually get a bit of longevity from stories on the platform itself is if it gets a Top Story or a Challenge Placement and even that does not guarantee reads.

Rommi's Top Stories
Well... I want to open this pillar post by admitting that we're all tied to the pillar, in a manner of speaking. Each of us, I hope, has something in our life that is more important than writing. Or, perhaps, many things. This is the pillar to which our work is tied. Chained, even. Me, I wouldn't have it otherwise, as I explained in the Rommentary to my song On Your Way.
