Who Is David Perlmutter?

I am a fiction writer and historian from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I am giving this platform a second chance to help me out with my income.

I am a freelance writer, specialising in non-fiction history, particularly film, television, music, theatre and

animation history, and speculative fiction, particularly science fiction, fantasy and anthropomorphic

(“furry”) areas.

I hold an MA degree in History from the Joint Masters Program at the Universities of Manitoba and Winnipeg, and a Library/IT program certification from Red River College.

I am always in pursuit of new areas to publish my writing, new ventures to participate in on both global and local levels, and new ways of communicating with and growing an audience for my work. This includes working with people with mental disabilities, as I myself have Asperger’s Syndrome.

2019: Self-published novella “Let’s Be Buddies”
