The Eight

Introduction

When my subscribed stories replaced top stories on the home page, I was annoyed because my subscription feed is better, although some creators expressed that it was too difficult to press that button, and I was a troublemaker for daring to suggest it, and Vocal agreed. But this is where we are, but my subscription feed gives me fifty per cent more stories:

Usually, I go into each of the stories on there and leave a comment to let the people know that I have been. Sometimes the eight are flooded by a single creator, and that results in me removing my subscription. So that is up to 5c I make for my subscribed creators.

Usually, that is not the end of it, although some days I don't have time to read more.

I know I have shared this before, but in the Vocal Social Society on Facebook, we have a number of ways that we support creators:

The Community Adventure selects four Vocal communities, and I share and read two from each community, so that is another 5c from me, and I hope to have more from other readers.

The Dynamic Duo selects two Creators based on their supportive activity in the group (comments and hearts on other creators' posts).

We have many more threads to help people get themselves known and share their work in the group.

Each week Bill O'Neil gives us an image to write a dozen words about.

These are just a few ways in which we are always trying to support Creators.
