Rethinking Symbolic Leadership
Leadership, at its core, is meant to drive progress, inspire teams, and deliver results that move organizations toward a sustainable and thriving future. Yet, according to Narghiza Ergashova, the modern business world finds itself grappling with what she identifies as "ROT Leadership" – a concerning trend where appearances take precedence over substance and long-term value is sacrificed at the altar of shareholder expectations and symbolic success.

Todd Kassal Champions Quantum Computing in Rubber Track Project Management
To the casual observer, rubber tracks might seem like simple components—black bands wrapped around heavy machinery. But for engineers and manufacturers, rubber track systems are anything but simple. Each track must meet rigorous standards for durability, flexibility, terrain compatibility, and cost efficiency.

Most Honorable
It has been an interesting week. With the most recent set of Challenges provided by Vocal, I have been very diligent in setting myself up with my thoughts as I tap away in front of this screen. I could write poetry and stories, discuss those figures and stories from history or my own life and get some interesting feedback on them. I have looked over the list of upcoming work I can do, and I am both excited and terrified by what I have planned.

The Song That Won’t Die
How Bella Ciao Became a Global Cry for Freedom The air was thick with tension, the kind that hums before a storm. I stood in a crowd in Santiago last week, shoulder to shoulder with strangers, as a lone guitarist struck the opening chords of Bella Ciao. The melody cut through the chaos—tear gas lingering, banners waving, voices hoarse from chanting. Within seconds, the crowd joined in, their voices raw but resolute, singing in Spanish, Italian, or just humming the tune. It wasn’t just a song; it was a pulse, a shared heartbeat of defiance. How does a melody born in the rice fields of 19th-century Italy end up here, in Chile, in 2025, or in the streets of Gaza, Tehran, or Rojava? Bella Ciao is no ordinary song. It’s a living, breathing force, a global anthem of resistance that refuses to fade.
