Notes On Vocal's Status Page
This Is An Excellent Idea But Needs An Excellent Implementation
Introduction
Vocal has finally introduced a Status page which I have been badgering them about for ages and put it into one of my pages over a year ago here.

The thing is, with anything like this it needs to be always current. That means every site issue needs to be flagged either by the system or moderators and it is showing that a fix has been applied but some users may still be encountering issues (I have done over the last two days), and that some things may be delayed or unavailable.
I maintain a work intranet and know how easy it is to be forgotten but, having launched this I am sure that Vocal will keep it up to date and it is a brilliant piece of host/user transparency.
Think of being on a train that just stops. If you hear nothing to may start to get a little annoyed. If there is an announcement that says "We are waiting for a signal but we don't know what the issue is, we will keep you informed" then you are a lot happier, still delayed but you know someone is monitoring the situation for you.
Conclusion
I know this is short, but this is a really useful addition to the Vocal platform. Or it would be if it wasn't like this

Good to hear. I've been having an awful lot of issues with the site the past few days.
Great article and I love the train analogy. I remember being stuck on my way home and the announcer came on and said the train was running late and basically they had no excuse for it! We all laughed and didn't mind at all after that!

my vocal isn’t sending me alarms only a few every now and then and poems all in waiting to be approved last two days so please don’t think I am ignoring you. They are aware and I hope fixing it
True. Knowing what’s going on makes you feel less anxious. It also saves you time since you don’t have to worry wondering if it’s your device or your wi-fi causing you not to be able to do anything on Vocal. I thought it was connection. Then I learned others were having the same issue. The problem was still there. But I felt better and moved on to do something else.
Did I miss an announcement about the Human-Verification addition?
