Considering a Sailboat
When arriving in California, after an epic roadtrip, seizing the means of familiar and future was my primary personal task. I didn't have even a bed, yet. I'll have fixed that by now, I hope! A boat, however, that was the logical first step for someone who dreams of seeing the world in the most sustainable way possible, and creating content to share with everyone along the way of chasing that dream.

Flowery Trail Road
I crossed Chewelah Mountain on Flowery Trail Road. There were flowers at the beginning, many of them, and lush pastures too. After that it was simply a steep climb through a dark and heavily managed forest. Mismanaged would perhaps be a better term. The mountains were brutally cut and with the even aged management style. Scarred from clear cuts in other words.

Short Stories - The Old Oak Tree & Conclusion
About 50 years ago, an iconic landmark was destroyed, The Pearl Bay Oak Tree in South Carolina. This tree was predicted to be somewhere between 600 and 700 years old. Oaks were not found in that part of the state. The story went that an Indian planted this tree with some seeds he brought from the north.

Country Sunset
One lesson I want to take over the years is when to "let go" and not put any pressure on myself in terms of being creative. Leave the phone and the electronics and just "shut down" and be sure to "get shit done" so that all those burdened little things and "musts "are made. Only after it comes that wonderful, joyful freedom back, as well as the core for me to want to create anything at all.
