A Place Stuck In Time
I've just been to a place stuck in time. It reminded me of summers in Ecuador, when we'd go to small towns on the coast. Dirt (and some dirty) roads, old and simple buildings, precarious vehicles (and horses and motorbikes and pedi-cabs), all baking under a scorching sun, high humidity, and lack of nearly everything: sanitation and maintenance above all. But most importantly food: large store fronts in old houses and buildings showcase a lot more space than content. The odd cans of sardines, tomato paste and oil perched among basic school supplies and a couple pairs of pants and shirts hanging on the side. All this inside the size of a small 711 store. It's nearly empty yet people line up to get a shot at the new arrivals. And no matter how remote the town, rum was never (NOT ONCE) in short supply.

Salzburg's secluded hidden gem
Salzburg is known as the ‘Rome of the North’. The name is a reference to the city’s beautiful baroque architecture, imagined and built by the Catholic Prince Archbishops of the seventeenth century. Tourists are keen to seek out the film locations from the beloved film The Sound of Music and music lovers regularly embark on pilgrimages to the birthplace of Mozart. But this Austrian town has more unusual secret spots to discover too.

When Better Days Begin
One day, though I don't know when, the world will return to normal. It might not be the normal we once knew, but it will still offer us chances we don't have locked at home. And when that day comes, I can just imagine all the empty driveways in the neighborhoods around my town. Mine will be one of them.

There are no Lions in the Jungle
The jungle. Although there are many accounts available telling you what it is like and you have done all the research possible so you think you are prepared for it, you are not. Nowhere does it say that you should take two pairs of wellies because your first pair will be destroyed within the first week, or that you should remember to take nail clippers, or that there is no non-deet insect repellent that actually works despite what the packaging might say. You may be well versed in the flora and fauna you are likely to encounter, but that feeling of excitment that threatens to brim over and scare away the Tyra that's just been spotted is never described. It is one thing to know that the jungle exists, quite another to have lived in it.

Place to Visit in Kanyakumari-Last Land of India
Kanyakumari ‘a spiritual destination’ which is also famous by the name of ‘Cape Comorin’ during the British rule, is now popular for watching sunrise and sunset over the ocean simultaneously. Not only that, but tourists also pay a visit to this southern tip of India which is in the “God’s own district” state of Tamil Nadu, for watching best of the best beaches, coastal climate and confluence of three large water bodies i.e. “The Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean, and the Arabian Sea.” The attraction of this charming town is also blessed with beautiful religious places, historical monuments, and serene beaches.

Exploring Scotland and NE England
I love traveling to the British Isles, especially Scotland. In late April/early May 2019 I went on another adventure to the UK. I left Boston and flew across the Pond to London and then up to Edinburgh, the vibrant capital city of Scotland, where I spent the 1st 3 nights of my weeklong trip.
