The search for home
My story begins in a little city near Los Angeles. I was 15 minutes away from the beach, the airport and Hollywood. Mountains were just an hour away and the Mexican border was a two hour drive. I had it all, but still I dreamed.

St. Petersburg, Florida.
Home for me is Saint Petersburg, Florida, and I feel like we have it all! I can't think of anywhere I'd rather live right now. We are located on a peninsula in the Tampa Bay area (go Bucs), so we are surrounded by beaches on three sides and they are all completely beautiful! If sand is not your thing, don't worry! We have an incredible Downtown area that anyone would enjoy! Not to mention we are driving distance from multiple theme parks, and incredible national parks. I can't wait to share with you some of the amazing things my hometown has to offer.

Visit Banff
Iconic. People come from thousands of miles away to visit the place that I call home. Nestled within the heart of the Rocky Mountains is the town of Banff, Alberta, my home. For the tourists, Banff is a place of untouched beauty. The gondola takes you to the top of a mountain, without even having to hike a step. The hot springs offer warmth when the snow falls heavily in the winter. Whether its hiking, skiing, shopping or just dinner in a local restaurant, Banff offers tourists the wilderness experience within a 90-minute drive of an international airport.

My Hometown, Pensacola, FL
Pensacola, Florida is my hometown located on the upper most western part of Florida. The western part of Florida is called the “Panhandle” because it is directly above the Gulf of Mexico. Pensacola is home to the rich, white sand beaches. I grew up there the past 10 years of my life due to the fact that my parents were in military (Navy), and they decided to retire there. Pensacola houses many Navy pilots who fly the marvelous Blue Angels jets. Each and every year, the Blue Angels perform over Pensacola Beach to show the community how fast and in synch they can be while in the air. It is completely mind blowing. They fly very fast and loud breaking the speed of sound.

The Marble Arch
It wasn't anything special, it's just a river. Hell, Montana has a river that runs through it. Why are we still talking about this damn river when I could be looking at Notre Dame? I could barely keep myself still, as the instructor pointed at the Seine River, waving her arms frantically as if performing a mating dance. It was a failure of dance because as far as I could tell none of the sixty-nine kids standing around her were listening. Paris was dirty, and the Metro was horrendous to try and board all the time with this many people in our group; with maybe eight seconds to board and half of France trying to get on as well. If our bright orange backpacks didn't scream tourist, the traveling in such large numbers and screaming "'Merica" had to give it away. The French were not very friendly, nor were they all that stylish. I was expecting so much more from the "City of Lights" and yet I was not very happy, or filled with light. I love puns as much as the next person but that was terrible, still, I snickered to myself.

Bull City
It's the City of Medicine but received its nickname from the infamous Bull Durham Tobacco company. The bull still stands proudly in the newly renovated downtown area. It's home to Duke University, the Durham Performing Arts Center that houses touring Broadway shows (hopefully that can happen again soon), the Tobacco Trail that connects major parts of the city. Not to mention the Durham Bulls Athletic Park for our baseball team. None of these attractions make Durham home, for me.
