Our Camping Trip That Didn't Happen
Kathy and I began talking about beach trips and how nice it would be to have a tan before the first one. Since the next day was going to be warm and sunny, I said, “I’ll go to Publix in the morning and get some fried chicken. We’ll take the dogs to the top of the mountain where the sun shines most of the day, and we will begin working on our beach tans.” It sounded good to Kathy, so the next day was set.

Oxford. Top Story - February 2021.
I wish to explore the lesser-known Oxford - a city nestled within the central rolling hills of England. The dreaming spires and distinctive golden oolitic limestone that stands brightly over cobbled streets, shadowed by crowds of tourists, students and locals already get much rightly-earned acclaim, but there is also so much to celebrate in the margins, the green outskirts and verdant parks, meadows and rivers that cushion this beautiful city. I was not born here, but it is truly the town that is my home.

Home Is In The Evergreens. Top Story - February 2021.
Exactly one month ago, I woke up in a beautiful cabin overlooking the mountains. The first morning at our new home. Somehow our little family of three had managed to land an affordable rental with a view in a renter-starved market. The view was magnificent, with floor to ceiling windows showing off the impressive Rocky Mountains that dominate the landscape. We had packed up our lives, set off across the country, moving for the first time away from family, away from all that we knew, with the hope of adventure and new beginnings.

The 3 Types of People Living Near the Beach
Beaches are all different — there are quiet, residential beaches, then there are boisterous boardwalks. But what about the locals? Coastal areas can vary wildly in geography and level of development. You’ll have pleasant, sleepy beaches in primarily residential beach towns, then you’ll have boisterous boardwalks with rides and funnel cake.

5 Days in the Scottish Highlands
Refreshed and dry, with our kit organised and a slight hangover from excessive prosecco the night before, we set off from the hotel with Ali behind the wheel. That didn't last long – he played the ‘Birthday’ trump card to instead relax in the passenger seat taking pictures and eating my half of the snacks.

Memories
I grew up in the South. I was usually isolated from neighbors and friends. One particular place cannot describe my home. We moved all over Arkansas and sometimes went back to the same places multiple times. My parent's divorced during my early childhood. Both parents were either drug addicts or alcoholics. They found their comfort in those idols or in other people.
