We Are Still Here
I do not have words for how much I love and appreciate my mom. Even when we don't see eye to eye, I know she would do anything in the world to help me. When I am really struggling and not acting like myself, she is ready to give grace. Even when life was genuinely awful, she did everything she could for us.

Right on TIME
I stare down at the tablet in my hands. I scroll through the articles again, as if I expect them to change somehow. Although the idea was mine, although I developed every bit of the technology, although my "business partners" seemed trustworthy, my name is nowhere to be found.

Take More Photos
Every year on my dad's birthday, I post a picture of him on my social media, and every year there is this sudden broken feeling when I re-realize that the picture I am posting is one that I have posted a dozen times before. It's a good picture, it's from when he was young, and happy, and doing what he loved. But it's still just one old photo.

St. Petersburg, Florida.
Home for me is Saint Petersburg, Florida, and I feel like we have it all! I can't think of anywhere I'd rather live right now. We are located on a peninsula in the Tampa Bay area (go Bucs), so we are surrounded by beaches on three sides and they are all completely beautiful! If sand is not your thing, don't worry! We have an incredible Downtown area that anyone would enjoy! Not to mention we are driving distance from multiple theme parks, and incredible national parks. I can't wait to share with you some of the amazing things my hometown has to offer.

Life Fuel
I am just really not a fan of breakfast. I like breakfast foods, waffles are great, love the bacon, cereal is fun too, but I hate getting up and eating first thing in the morning. It's weird. If I was at a camp program, or I was out of town with friends, and we had a specific time and place where breakfast was happening, I would happily eat it. But every day? Really? Not my thing.

Just a Word
"Words of affirmation" is one of my top love languages. I believe that words are powerful, and that it doesn't take a lot of effort to use your words to brighten someones days. We all have times when we need a little extra encouragement, and a few genuine words could be enough to pull someone out of a cloud. For me, that tough time is the entire month of December. Throughout my life, all of the majorly bad things that have happened have happened in the month of December. I know I should not let a few unfortunate events steal an entire month from me every year, but it's difficult to think in a productive way when you are in the abyss.
