gender roles
A look at the evolution of gender roles, from Leave It to Beaver, paternity leave, female breadwinners and more.
God Bless These Hookers
I saw a hooker on the train. She entered the cab with her tiddies out and quickly tucked them back in. That's how I noticed her. I'm sure it was a business tactic and it seemed to work--for a time. It worked right up until she began to nod off into what looked like a drug induced trance.

Menstrual Taboos Affect Girls Hygiene and Health Worldwide
The period taboo is a sexist stereotype that continues to affect almost all girls and women around the world Even in 2024, it is surprising to think that there are still many superstitions about periods and dirty torture of girls during periods, the question about the progress of human civilization comes to my mind again and again? Periods are a completely normal and natural biological process just like breathing. Yet it is still almost taboo to talk about or discuss menstruation in our society.

What If...Instead Of A Bear... It Was Coyotes?. Top Story - August 2024.
I have waited for the train to slow down on the philosophical debate of Would You Rather A Man Or Bear In The Woods I waited mostly because I was busy being entertained by reading the comment arguments, and seeing men flail, gnash their teeth angrily, and thrash against what is society's view of their gender as a whole. I have seen men agree with the women, saying that there are men out there who are worse than bears (usually those guys are the cool ones, yah?). I have seen women, who by the profile pictures and their lifestyle photos tell me they wouldn't survive just walking in the forest, talk about how they wouldn't be scared of the bear and be able to make friends with it before a man was able to control himself.

Sunday, 28 July 2024 By: TB Obwoge Women all over the globe are subjected to the whims of what men want them to be or to do. Why are men this way when it comes to women? Many seem to think their religion or cultures dictate how they should treat women, sadly mostly think women and children are only property, nothing more nothing less.

Feminism Has Lost Her Identity
Ladies and Gentlemen....welcome to my unpopular opinion.... again. I remember learning about the women's rights movement in school. I remember not understanding how the world had come to the conclusion that women were not equal to men, and why women had to fight for the right to work in the first place.

Being A Woman (Sorta)
My body is never my own. It is the body of every woman who has ever had any rude comment to me to make herself feel better about her man staring at me wanting to get my number. I only wanted to tell her, "Hey, I'm not your enemy here". But would that ever make a difference?
