Scary Stories for a Dark Summer's Night
I love listening to stories and podcast so I thought, why not make my own? I took some of my best narrated tales and combined them into a serene, summer night with crickets and cicadas chirping in the background, to help you relax.

Pyk Lore - The Pykey Forest Disappearances
The superstitious, hardworking people of Pyk live in Eom. The province of Eom is home to a vast majority of forests, and has jungle, hills, and mountainous terrain. It is a place where people become easily lost and confused due to the terrain. The town of Pyk, formerly Pykey, is located in the bay area. The climate is crisp and cold with much of the land frequently clouded by fog.

God Bless These Hookers
I saw a hooker on the train. She entered the cab with her tiddies out and quickly tucked them back in. That's how I noticed her. I'm sure it was a business tactic and it seemed to work--for a time. It worked right up until she began to nod off into what looked like a drug induced trance.

Dumb Heroics
It's 7:55am and I'm definitely late for work. I don't know how time has gotten so away from me. Every morning feels like this. I open my eyes and look up at the same ceiling. I get up, follow the same routine. Wear similar clothes and grab the same bland breakfast.

Artificial Interactions
I met you in an alley—the one off of Fifth Street, where the homeless huddled around their trash can fires, under the neon shop signs that turned night into day. The light chased away the shadows and they went crawling into every nook and side street of the city; but I was proud and tough, an alley didn’t scare me.

To Bury a Body
Burying a body was hard. Clinton knew this well. He first had to find a good spot to dig--perhaps a spot where people may not notice the freshly turned earth. He chose the soft patch of dirt outside their cabin, where the roots of trees jutted up from the ground like gnarled fingers, a spot just where the forest began.
