Roe V Wade Overturned
So, my thoughts on Roe V. Wade being overturned are that this is completely insane. How can we be the "land of the free" when not everyone is free? Women had to fight for our rights and now they are just taking them away again? For what? Just because some people want to cry about it?

Nellie Bly a Woman Who Inspired Others to Never Settled for Second Best
Nellie Bly is my hero, and I don't say that often because usually, my heroes let me down. Nellie Bly was born Elizabeth Cochran on 5th May 1864 in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. Her father was a labourer who went on to buy his own mill and make a considerable amount of money.

F**k Your Standards of Beauty
We’re told all our lives that we should be a certain way and look a certain way, we’re warned not to be too much of this or not enough of that. We’re shaped in such a way that has us questioning everything we are, everything we’re not and everything we think about ourselves. Who are you to tell me how my body should look, what shape my hips should be, or what colour my hair should stay? Who are you to convince me you have an input on my appearance?

Troubled Girl
I was raised deep in the Appalachian mountains, a small podunk town that mostly had more trees than people and churches than stores. A place where fun consisted of driving late in the evening to nowhere in particular while you listened to music and ate Dairy Queen with whatever person was in the mood to join you.

Blame The Government, Sweetie.. Top Story - July 2022.
I had a conversation with my best friend today while we were in the gym. She brought up the fact of how different she was treated by her family at a family function because she had lost a significant amount of weight since the last time they had seen her. She said that for the first time ever, they had invited her to take shots with them and actually conversed with her on a deeper level. She also joked about how if they saw her now, even smaller than she was before, they would be serving her drinks and food. The common theme of her visits with her family during holidays were always uncomfortable for her because she was often ignored. She realized this past Christmas that the reason she wasn't spoken to was because of her heavier weight. I got to thinking, now why is that? Why would the people who are supposed to love you no matter what, treat you less as a larger person than they would if you were smaller? She inspired more questions that I had. Why is it that even strangers treat us differently? Sometimes without even noticing.

A Day In The Life of An 18th Century British Prostitute
"Come, my lord, come along, let us drink a glass together." "I'll go with you if you please." Prostitution was prominent across England in the 18th and 19th centuries. There were two main reasons for this - urbanization and the middle-class getting access to power and money.

Women Vs. Society
Women. Once seen as goddesses in ancient greece centuries ago, and now seen as objects. How would YOU define a real woman. Does it all come down to what's in her pants? or If she's very well "behaved" or my favorite, hairless. Must not have any hair on her arms, back, chin, and god forbid let there be a spec of hair on her legs. It's so unlady like for a woman to be loud. To get a little dirty. To not provide the needs her husband longs for. Women are treated so badly... but for what? Without us where would the world be today?
