Review of Twenty One Pilots' New LP 'Trench'
The 2015 release of Twenty One Pilots' junior LP Blurryface had initiated an era of sensationalism for members Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. Their record’s transition away from quirky alternative pop and towards a more mainstream synth-pop outfit triggered a storm of industry recognition and mixed fan responses, placing Twenty One Pilots at the center of pop music discussion. After two years of relentlessly touring on Blurryface, the duo had stepped down from their international platform to begin working on what is now the fifth addition to their discography, Trench, released October 5. Comprised of their style’s chaotic charm and a backbone of heavy electronic dub, this concept album marks a new age in the timeline of this band’s ever-developing sound.

Why the Victims Don't Speak Out
There has been a lot of publicity about historical cases of abuse in the news over recent years and this movement is gathering momentum. That is great to see. Those who commit acts of abuse should absolutely be made to face the consequences of their actions. One thing I can't help but notice is that in every case there seems to be a lot of people in the online space who question the truthfulness of those who come forward to make abuse public on the grounds that those victims didn't speak out immediately after the incident, or during the process of it, if the abuse was long term.

Parisian Vacation Fails
1. Pick one or two things you really want to explore. The only thing my family actually did was visit Versailles because we all love the history of it. However, be prepared for overcrowding and not really getting to see much of what you were hoping for. Most places in Paris are too busy for visitors to actually take time to enjoy what they’re seeing. Have your camera at the ready and snap as you are whisked past. Those blurry pictures are probably the only reminder you’ll have of your time at each location.

5 of My Favorite Dog Breeds
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to work with animals in one way or another. Currently, I am a senior pre-veterinary student at the University of Connecticut, so clearly the medicine aspect won out. However, animal behavior was a close second. I really enjoy learning the personalities of different animals, and the best ways to react to and train them. Dogs and the differences between their breeds especially interest me, because every breed has some significant differences to learn about. These differences make them best suited for different types of families, and it's best to do your diligent research before deciding on an animal to add to your family.
