10 Ways to Protect Your Skin During the Winter Cold
Winter is a time when snow gently hits the ground, where hot cocoa is brewed up by barrelful, and where people get to spend time with their loved ones. It’s a wonderful time for people who enjoy baking cookies, itchy sweaters, and cozy times by the fire. Great as winter may be for your memories, it’s not too great for your skin.

Things that Helped Me, as a Lazy Bride to Be
Like most little girls, I dreamed of my wedding day. I planned the little intricacies and pomp with flare while imagining I was a princess wearing white. I became more and more jaded by hate of dating, and my dreams of becoming a bride faded into a dream that I would have after eating a whole pizza while watching Game of Thrones. Yeah, I was that girl—the nerdy girl who ate whole pizzas on Sunday night. Fast forward to now, I have been with the love of my life, Matt, for 5 years this November, and even after losing my engagement ring in Italy (while I was on set working), the wedding is still on, and I have never been more overwhelmed. Not only do I suffer from bouts of depression, but I have really bad anxiety at times.

Video Games That Are Great for Girls
Though a minority of gamers are female, that minority is a significant one–and growing. There's no denying the facts and statistics. While women make up very little of the user base for sports-based video games like FIFA, their numbers are much more significant in other video game genres, ranging from adventure to fantasy to strategy and beyond. However, the industry still overwhelmingly caters to a male user base. Oftentimes, women are ignored by gaming companies, making some games unfriendly or simply ridiculous to some women. But on the other hand, there are just a handful of video games that are great for girls (and guys), for one reason or another.

I Tried Out the Eco-Friendly Buffy Comforter; Did It Live Up to the Hype?
I always try to decrease my carbon footprint where I can. I recycle, I buy local produce, and overall try to be an eco-friendly consumer. I'm not perfect, of course, as a lot of products might be considered "better" for the environment, but... they don't always work the same. And they can be really expensive. I'm not made of money over here!

Killer Life Lessons from Michael Myers

How I Switched My Cat to Wood Litter
As someone who grew up with cats, cat litter was always a staple in my household. I saw litters of every kind come and go. From massive boxes of clay that I could barely lift with my scrawny arms to fancy, Fabreeze infused litters that gave me a headache and, of course, "miracle" lightweight litter that gave off more dust than could possibly be safe for any creature to inhale. Despite my misgivings about litter, and it's annoying habit of ending up all over my apartment, I always felt that it was a necessary aspect of owning a cat. Little did I realize there was a cost-effective, biodegradable solution that I could be using! I'm talking about wood pellets.

Think of It Over and Again
There was a day when a conversation between me and my father arose, how it did I have already forgotten, but the importance of it was the perspectives we had on the subject. I would say that by the end of it, I was left with an open opinion to it.

We've all heard horror stories of broken fibulas during intense soccer games. That's why players, from youth age to the pros invest in quality shin guards to protect their legs. Shin guards for indoor soccer are easy to find, because shin guards used in soccer will be the same for both outdoor soccer and indoor soccer. Regardless of where you play, every soccer player needs the same protection. Soccer shin guards are used to protect soccer players not only from the soccer ball, but most importantly, from other player’s feet.
