Zack Polanski: Thinks He Can Persuade Reform Voters to Support Him.

Polanski and Farage: Two Polarising Figures in British Politics.

By Nicholas BishopPublished about 8 hours ago 3 min read
Green Party Leader: Zack Polanski.

The Green Party has always been present in British politics. Known for their green and environmental politics. To begin with, they had one female MP; now they have four. Similar to their right-wing opponents, Reform UK, which also has 4 MPs.

Since Zack Polanski was elected leader of the Greens, the party has shot up in support in the polls. The party is now at 16 - 18 % support, which is where Sir Keir Starmer's Labour is. So that shows that those on the left disenfranchised with Starmer's swing to the right are finding a home in the Green Party. In fact, it is Polanski's stated aim to replace the Labour Party and be the natural home for former Labour supporters. Polanski has set himself a huge mountain to climb. However, in this ever-changing landscape of British politics, who knows what can happen?

Farage and Polanski represent two very different strands of modern British politics. Farage thinks migration has ruined Britain and is calling for mass deportations. Polanski, on the other hand, thinks migration has benefited Britain.

Polanski thinks he can convince Reform voters to swap sides and vote for him. This is another Mount Everest that Polanski has set himself to climb. But is it, as he thinks, doable?

Polanski thinks he can convince Reform supporters that migration is not a bad thing for this country. He wants to show Reform voters that migration is vital for the UK and highlight the suffering of such people. Polanski thinks he can tap into the other things that make Reform voters angry. Affordable housing, the cost of living, pay freezes, and a stagnating economy. He wants to highlight to them that migrants (in his opinion) are not responsible for their woes. But billionaires, large corporations, and the establishment are responsible for the state of dystopian Britain.

Polanski attacks Farage as being for all the above, like billionaires, large corporations, and the establishment. And, there is a method to Polanski's thinking because these groups or individuals are responsible for the way our society has become obsessed with money. Where a person's worth is judged by how much they contribute to the economy rather than as a human being. Polanski attacks Farage for being out of touch. Because he went to Dulwich College, a private educational establishment. Polanski likes to show himself as a man of the people and attacks Farage for claiming this. Farage comes from a wealthy middle-class background and worked as a stockbroker.

However, Zack Polanski may be a Mancunian born and bred, but he is not working class either. Mr. Polanski was privately educated. He worked as an actor and, for a while, worked as a hypnotist. In which he claimed women could make their breasts grow larger if they imagined it.

Polanski has driven the Green Party beyond their environmental credentials. Of course, this is still their modus operandi, but Polanski has driven the party to consider issues like trans rights, pro-migration, and what he calls eco-populism. Some Green supporters worry, though, that these policies not necessarily eco-populism but the others might put off rural Green supporters. That's as it may be, but Polanski is what Polanski is. He said once he would not throw open Britain's gates to anybody in the world, and he would be choosy as to who to let in. But he would not be as hard as the current climate is against migrants.

For me personally, who leans towards the left and right on some things, both Farage and Polanski have things going for them. Conversely, both politicians and would-be future prime ministers have things that turn me off them. And that is natural and expected in any politician when it comes to support.
