The Government Pays For Crazy Ideas To Become A Reality
Anyone looking to get rich might as well become a scientist or begin a study on whatever idea comes to mind.
I’ve got a dumb idea and want to get paid for it. How can someone get paid for dumb ideas? It’s pretty simple. You put together a study and get a research grant. It sounds crazy, but it’s the truth.
In the late part of last week, like many bored Americans, I found myself combing through YouTube and looking at stupid videos. I stumbled upon a committee hearing where questions were being raised about USAIDs expenditures. It came as no surprise with the new Sheriff in town, and on a mission.
Even as Sheriff Musk and his deputies face opposition from the liberal (Anti-Trump) judges, several examples of wasteful spending have already been brought to the public eye. One in particular, however, is the most absurd thing since the 80s study on why apples hang from trees.
Under the National Institute of Health, during Joe Biden’s time as President, millions of dollars have been spent on sex change operations. Before asking why is that so bad, remember that these are taxpayers’ dollars, and those are supposed to go to supporting our failing public school system, infrastructure, defense, and other critical needs in the United States. Oh, and don’t forget those healthy 200,000-dollar salaries of our elected officials in Washington.
Yes, you want to see people supported in finding themselves. We all get it. Free sex changes for all mankind. By the way, in a few hundred years, if anybody’s alive on this doomed rock we call a planet, we will have royally screwed over generations of people with these soft on mental health, give them what they want ideas. But that’s not what needs to be brought to your attention.
Your taxpayer’s dollars have been hard at work. They’ve been hard at work turning rats and mice into transsexual/transgendered creatures. Since it takes one to know one, we’re left to assume that at one of our infamous congressional leader’s homes, they hold meetings to hear from the transgendered critters once combing the streets of New York and found in legitimate laboratories around the world.
Taxpayers have spent around $10 million on transgendered animal experiments. How studying a transgendered mouse or rat benefits the transgendered community is a mystery. Sure, there’s going to be an effect on any biological creature whose hormones are manipulated by science. But rats and mice are a jump from humans and expecting the money people pay into taxes to support school systems to be used for such a thing is reprehensible.
Where has the oversight been during the past four years? How about the last fifteen? During the 2017 to 2021 period, President Donald Trump appeared to be the singular focus of Congress. Under the Fauci NIH and the Biden administration, liberal policies ruled the day.
How do you feel to know that you helped pay for transgendered surgeries on lab rats and mice so they could study hormones and the effect of such surgeries on the health of transgender humans? Considering the quality of education for the children in this country has plummeted, perhaps taxpayer’s dollars could be better spent.
As my contribution to science, I am going to propose that we authorize 100 billion dollars for the most important study in the history of humankind. The 100 billion will be spent over a ten-year period by me and the staff, as we answer the biggest question of the last three hundred years. It'll involve examining the centrifugal force of the wheel and by the end of the ten-year study, we will absolutely know the answer to the question, does the wheel on the bus go round and round?
And I promise that no laboratory animals will be harmed in the course of this study.

This reminds me of the Faux News report on the million(s) dollar grant to study the sex life of flies. The reporter expressed complete outrage, making it sound as though the scientists were perverts producing fly porn. Turned out in the interview that the study was concerning the transmission of disease through populations & that it was money well spent. He conceded the validity of the studies in barely a whisper, allowing his outrage to become the what most of his viewers remembered. Hormone therapy is not just about transgender & gender-change operations. It bears implications for all of us, whether in our own person or for others about whom we care, ranging from cancer treatments to menopause to athletes cheating trying to get ahead in their sport. While I may not approve of the way the animals are treated, I cannot agree with your caricature of the studies or the diminution of its significance. All that having been said, I thoroughly enjoyed the op-ed article & the way that you wrote it. My only concern is with its demonstration of how easy it is to marginalize & diminish the important work others are doing & how much it means to so many about whom we claim to care.
With all those crazy studies, no wonder we are running trillions of dollars in deficits!!! If I had a crazy research idea, they probably would stop funding. Just my luck!!! 😂 😂 😂
I’ll start a study immediately. And I’ll get two sex changes, just because. Good work!
Nice work
