The Blue Team Should Get A Thank You And A Fruit Basket From The Trump Team Any Day

From coast to coast the world is a changing place. While many people are bitching and moaning about what’s happened and what will likely happen in the future, there is a blame game going on that’s sadly being misdirected. Isn’t it time to cast the shadow of blame onto the deserving parties?

Anyone who was paying attention knew what was to come in one scenario. How did we reach the point where Project 2025 might be our reality? That’s the important part to consider. Because there will come a time when historians will look back and ask the question, how did that happen? How did the United States end up going through such a turbulent time?

It comes down to two sides of a story. On one side some moved mountains to unseat a disruptor from power and then changed tactics to keep him from returning to power. On the other, there was a man with a very clear message. It was a message that never changed, even though we saw him go through what one might describe as hell.

After months and years of his opponents attacking his character or lack thereof, Donald Trump announced he was running for President again. Then, he was persecuted, indicted, and convicted of multiple counts of crimes few people understood. They called it the hush money scandal.

Ultimately, history was made, as a thirty-four-time convicted felon showed the world that anything’s possible. He became the 47th President of the United States. Now that he’s there, the world gets to reap the whirlwind. Because as anybody who’s watched him knows, he’s both predictable and unpredictable at the same time.

But wait!

Can we really blame just Donald and his associates for what’s to come? As his troops (officials) are in the process of conducting the largest score of arrests of illegal immigrants the country has seen, perhaps in history, didn’t we know this was what would happen? Shouldn’t we have been prepared for this?

Nothing about his slew of executive orders, his rapid-fire changes to affect the government, or his rampage to get illegal immigrants out of the country is a surprise. And, there was another side to the story. When you look back at this period, one group was most responsible for putting Donald Trump back into the Whitehouse.

That was, and is, the Democratic Party, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris. How did they guarantee a Donald Trump win? Look at five things that they forgot, botched, or intentionally did that screwed them out of the Whitehouse, and out of any chance of controlling Congress in the 2024 election.

First There Was The Press

For a considerable amount of time, the Democratic Party and the left had the advantage of the press leaning left. Like anything, if you take it for granted you risk losing it, and that’s exactly what happened. No longer did the press softball questions and the administration as years of deception caught up to the Biden Whitehouse. The press began to slowly recognize the problems that were created by bad political policies. For example:

Inflation: Partially due to Covid, but partially due to out-of-control spending.

The Immigration Issue: While many applauded Joe Biden for finally clamping down on the border before ultimately dropping out of the 2024 presidential race, the face of cases such as the Laken Riley case was bound to haunt the administration.

Attacks on Donald Trump: It’s hard to sell to a country with two sides that it’s time to unite the country when you continually attack your political opponents.

Propaganda and Censorship: Meta (Facebook) founder Mark Zuckerberg ultimately conceded that things were removed from the platform due to the government’s demands. When the Biden Administration painted the Hunter Biden laptop as a Russian disinformation campaign, this was ultimately proven to be false. Overall, the Biden years did plenty to erode the faith the public had in its institutions of government.

Forgetting Congressional Hearings: There have been non-stop hearings in Congress for four years. These hearings have been witnessed by millions of Americans, and many of them painted high-ranking officials in a bad light due to the multiple failures to act in the interest of public safety and national security.

Inflation

Biden’s policies did little, if anything, to help working-class people. Most people in the United States make between fifty and seventy thousand a year if they’re lucky. As inflation continued to pinch the spending power of citizens, multiple taxes and excessive government expenditures on things not related to the average citizen’s bottom line were going to be of key importance to the voters. When the Democrats put Kamala Harris into the picture, replacing the beleaguered president, there was no clear plan on Harris’s agenda to help everyday Americans. It made even some of the staunchest Democratic Voters believe Trump would win.

Forgetting Rural Americans

In 2016, Hillary Clinton was the presumptive winner of the election. However, Donald Trump had entered the election and knew one thing that Clinton didn’t. Don’t forget rural Americans. This was evident in the rallies and her campaign stops. When looking at the electoral map from the 2016 election and the 2024 election, there’s a notable similarity in the vote.

This time, Kamala lost the key battleground states, doing even worse at engaging the rural states and voters.

Using the Same Tired Rhetoric

Kamala should be upset with her campaign managers. They let her use a lot of the same tired rhetoric about Trump as if his past was going to keep him from having a more likable plan for America than she could come up with. Donald Trump gets much of his power over the American people because of relevancy, and the Democrats and Kamala made sure he remained the most relevant subject of the election. Attacking Trump's convictions was a waste of time in a country where millions of voters believe Joe Biden and his family are guilty of multiple crimes stretching across borders to Ukraine, Russia, and China. She simply lacked the skill and ability to bring a plan to the table to was going to benefit all of America and banked on the dislikable Trump’s history being enough to give her the edge.

Backing The Wrong Horse

Democratic donors and the establishment failed to recognize that after four years as veep, and with a dismal public approval rating for nearly the entire time, Kamala was the wrong horse to back in a race against a man who was recently referred to by one Medium writer as a bull in a China shop. This is the same woman who in the not-so-distant past couldn’t secure her party's nomination. She failed to bring a plan to the table in the short time she was a candidate, and while she did a stellar job raising a fortune in campaign contributions, outpacing the popular Trump, she still came up short. Kamala did worse than Clinton, who arguably has far more skeletons in her history to answer for than the now-former VP.

To sum it all up, there was a chance to go on living without the insanity of Project 2025. As I watch the Trump administration's executive orders and moves, I see the dawning days of a reborn America. For some, it’ll be chaos. For others, in time, it’ll be a better America than we’ve seen for a while.

We can hope for a renewed sense of economic development. It will be an economic development that no longer is predicated on policies like DEI, and will likely include a shift that some will find unwanted. But, that’s the price Americans, and the system, needed to pay.

The great disruptor is back in power, and things are going to change. There will be multitudes of actions and court challenges, and ultimately the laws of the land will be enforced. That is, of course, unless you’re the President of the United States and have the fortune to stay out of prison, or are likely too old and feeble-minded for a prosecutor to secure a victory before you pardon everybody around you for no other reason than you don’t want them persecuted.

America is the land of the somewhat free, run by criminals lining their pockets with money and power. Does anyone even remember when America was the shining example to the world?
