Signing Away Our Rights
Terms of Service agreements are all over the place these days, people are asked to agree to them before any service sign-up can be completed. These standard agreements were previously intended to protect companies providing the service(s) against frivolous lawsuits and protection from liability. Generally, the terms of service agreements that people were required to sign laid out the restrictions regarding a service or product and its intended use. Terms of service agreements have always been very long and wordy with a lot of complex language and phrasing that can confuse those who are not attorneys or familiar with legalese. Most people are accustomed to signing these agreements without fully reading them and most never had any issue later.

Ephrata's Dirty Little Secret
Ephrata, Pennsylvania, is a picturesque town that proudly boasts the Green Dragon Farmers Market and attracts numerous visitors each year. However, behind its idyllic charm lies a darker reality: a growing homeless population that is becoming increasingly marginalized by local government policies. This issue is not just about individuals sleeping on the streets but also includes those who live in cars, bounce between couches, or find temporary shelter in storage units, offices, or even at their jobs. Ephrata’s homeless population is criminalized through ambiguous laws, denied meaningful assistance, and excluded from the community’s compassion—a crisis that has led to controversial enforcement, legal battles, and public outcry.

OKAY ALREADY- So What?
August 2025 edit: The Project 2025 Tracker. Original Content I've thought about this for a while, and when I saw the short written and performed by Jason Kravits below, I knew it was time to write about it. Take a minute or so to watch and listen.

Dear Future President
It's time for another political article because as I surf through Twitter and Youtube I'm seeing post after post about Trump and Kamala. Oy ve and a half. Look what America has been reduced to: Trump, the felon who causes insurrections or Kamala, the brain dead druggie who can't complete an actual real sentence. We are so doomed. Still, if I could vote, I'd give my vote to the felon. At least I can understand him when he speaks.

Idolatry in U.S. Politics
I'm going to put this out there: Is a person who was shot at and missed a hero? From what I have always known a hero is someone who is courageous and/or possesses noble qualities. Such as a person who saves another person's life. A person that will go to any length to help the less fortunate so that they may have a better quality of life. The hero is someone who goes into action to save someone or help someone. Simply dodging a bullet is not a heroic action.

Trump's First Assassination Attempt. Content Warning.
Before 20-year-old Thomas Crooks attempted to kill former President Trump, there was Michael Steven Sandford, a British man who was the same age as Crooks tried to assassinate Donald Trump before he became the President-Elect in 2016. He didn't shoot Trump or anyone else. This is how it all unfolded.

Did Donald Trump Create The Apex Of Post-Shame Culture?
New York State: "Never back down": The rich and the powerful are exploiting a post-shame society, and it's popularity is growing. Where once the powerful stepped down, now they hang on for dear life until the elephant in the room dissapears.

The Legal System is Wrong
In April, I was depressed. Not only did I turn 53 years old after a divorce from a 12 year marriage, I was broke, overweight, jobless, on a poor disability check, and lonely as hell. I was desperate for attention. I wasn't on any medication and whether I was hearing the voices (that often talk with me especially when no one else is around) or I wasn't hearing them, I was so depressed I was crying more often than is normal for me. I felt trapped and like the whole world had abandoned me. I reached out to the suicide hotline (988) and when I said some ridiculous overdramatic nonsense, they called the police. The police then baker-acted me and I was hospitalized for two weeks. Do you think that cured my depression? No. It made things even worse.
