Where Do You Find Peace?

In the world, or elsewhere?

Carefully tread throughout the world

Hold onto hope while your thoughts are swirled

Round and round your head they go

Is this the life you thought you’d know?

Steep hills and deep vales

Try to wrap worldly veils

Into the thickest blindfold

See yourself as one outside of the mold

Years go by to little avail

Outwardly following the preset trail

Understanding nothing of man’s design

Reveling in independence so fine

Little do you know of unearthly things

Imagine how darkly the angel sings

Fighting to win you heart and soul

Excited to see how his work takes its toll
