I sit with stoic Silence

under a yet moonless night

my heart hangs heavy

its weight wistfully

wandering through

when He created

Jupiter

the biggest

a "wandering star"

a brilliant spectacle

and as I see

your splendor

here and now

I am humbled

to know that

over two thousand years ago

you were the pen

that He used

to write a poem

in the sky

not just a poem

a love letter

with a beginning

a middle

and a most

beautiful end

the words

written

in red

and my hope

becomes

my prayer.
