I sit with stoic Silence
under a yet moonless night
my heart hangs heavy
its weight wistfully
wandering through
the dark velvety sky
sparkles with countless
points of light
there you are
"the Star of Bethlehem"
you told a story
as it was unfolding
and they saw you
and heard your
proclamation
while the world slept
under the sky
they watched
and listened
He used you
to lead them
on a 700-mile
journey
and around 2 years later
they arrived to see
what you
had been chosen
to proclaim
the child
the son
sent to save us
and as if that
weren't enough
He set you in motion
when He created
the heavens and
put every star
in its proper place
but you
you are a planet
Jupiter
the biggest
a "wandering star"
a brilliant spectacle
in the night sky
and as I see
your splendor
here and now
I am humbled
to know that
over two thousand years ago
you were the pen
that He used
to write a poem
in the sky
not just a poem
a love letter
with a beginning
a middle
and a most
beautiful end
the words
written
in red
and my hope
becomes
my prayer.

βThen God said, βLet there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;β Genesisβ¬ β1β¬:β14β¬ βNKJVβ¬β¬

βThe heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard. " Psalmsβ¬ β19β¬:β1β¬-β3β¬ βNKJV

Author's note:
The movie below is a little over an hour long, but it is well worth the time spent. It is an exhaustive research of the biblical star using modern tools and data, and I encourage every person to watch it.

I really like your story but I have a some question about your story would you mind If I can ask
This poem carries such quiet awe. The way you sit in stillness beneath the sky and let science and faith speak to one another feels both humble and deeply moving.
I saw this as a top story! I love anything related to astronomy, space, and stars. I thought I would get into astronomy for a career in the past. I'm thinking of getting into astronomy educator or something in the future now too. I went into design and computer science engineering for the money.
Back to say congratulations on your Top Story! ππππππ
