Hypocrisy

If

If I were to say hello

Would you reply

Shy words darken my lips, and the shade was all too bright

I had to decide if I was going to be silent or speak loudly or boldly about injustice

I would have done it already since cowardice does not become me

Since nothing could be further from the truth.

We slip in and out of time under the radar of comfortability

If it is fine, then it's fine and if it is not then it is still fine

Alas, time has not afforded me the opportunity to be picky about right and wrong

I diverge but it does not make a difference for I stay the same

betwixt the two and yet there is no confusion
