Weekend Nonsense
Warming Up The Brain
I’m the daughter of an angel
Love men who remind me of candy
I’m a master of the angles
A mathematic vigilante
If it’s too good, then, it must be
You have to choose between the fences
Life don’t come with guarantees
You need to put down your defenses
It’s a buy one get one free world
Though things are never what they seem
It’s either dirty or it’s clean
It’s rarely something in between
My hands are restless when I’m talking
You’d better read between the lines
You have to crawl before you’re walking
I feel hungry all the time
Determination makes you stronger
Hesitation creates doubt
If this poem goes much longer
You may all begin to shout

Smooth and majestic flow! Keep bringing the "awesome" Gifted One!
Stunning work as always, Kelli! Loved the rhymes so much :)
A poetic stream of aphorisms! Love it. (My brain also has too many tabs open. Fortunately, not one of them contains a single thing.)
Fun and loved it!!!
Some great words and rhymes and woven concepts
🔥 Go gurl! 💪🏾🫶🏾🩷
What a great warm-up exercise! I love the flow and rhythm of this one so much <3 The wording is of course, as always, phenomenal, Kelli<3
This is a good pre-writing drill and getting the brain working. Good job.
I love the meandering mind! Great poem
