The Jester
Amanda’s “Your Poetry Re-imagined” unofficial challenge
Hi!
How
are you?
He slouches…
shrugs… wearing a scowl.
My cheerfulness starts to wither
A glum grunt… is all he reluctantly delivers.
*
I
try
again…
How’s your day?
No way, will he play!
My song and dance becomes a prance…
spins, twists and turns… my attempts elicit no response.
*
I’m
his
Jester
He’s a King…
Supreme! He gazes
at me… bored… impossible to
please… fatigue and doubt set in… I will never succeed.
*
It
is
always
gibberish
and cross purposes.
Sullen and sunny… collide… clash!
Our opposites don’t attract… like magnets, we repel!
*
(My first attempt at a Fibonacci poem… the first one I read was written by Dharrsheena.)
The original poem, Gibberish:

There are times when no amount of effort will allow us to prevail. I do believe Fibonacci would be pleased.
I've never heard of a Fibonacci poem! Brilliant!
Well done!
This is great, Angie and thanks for the nod towards Dharr's... had no idea that anyone other than myself had done something fibonacci related!
I recognised the format immediately, hehehehe. Thank you so much for the mention. I loved your poem!
This is brilliant!
Love it! ⚡💙⚡
How have I missed this challenge? Great entry, Angie!
