nature poetry
An ode to Mother Nature; poems that take their inspiration from the great outdoors.
Necklace
I don’t want a necklace round my neck, content to see lichens hang from trees. Note: We were visiting the rainforest of the Pacific Northwest. I enjoyed the greenery. The lichen hanging from the big maple and beech trees enchanted me. This haiku is inspired by that experience.
