Attention Earthlings
Aliens give a warning
Attention earthlings
A message from outer space
We have been sent to destroy you
Yes, the entire human race
The plan was to break you
To over take your heart and mind
So that each of you would hate
Those that’s not your kind
To sow division among you
To arm you with confusion
So you look down on one another
A superior Ego illusion
To make you give up learning
To numb compassion and numb care
To treat each other like garbage
And excuse it all with “life is just not fair”
Then we would make you worship paper
Destroying every tree
To willingly deny yourselves
The very air you breathe
We would have put a poison
Into the oceans blue
So that you could not drink it
But turns out, you did that for us too
So now we will be leaving
And we give you a goodbye
We didn’t have to do a thing
You’ve ensured your own demise

Oh, I really like this! The meter and rhymes are perfect and the turn is stomach dropping. You used the alien device so well that I almost skipped it because I thought it might be hokey and tired. However I had a feeling it would be fresh and it was. Beautiful work!
