Reasons to Live
I love when dogs have to figure things out, and the look kids make when they become suspicious of something, the sound of my nephew's laugh, listening to my mother tell a story, being outside right before it rains and the smell at the moment right before the rain down pours, being moved to tears, laying in the arms of someone with whom I'm in love with, dancing with my friends, moving to the beat, going on a journey with the music, letting the DJ be the guide, discovering a song I live for and remembering one I knew I could never live without, recommending things that people like, and laughing so hard it hurts with other people also laughing, when it's going good, witnessing a sweet moment, my nieces smile, catching on to something before others, seeing a picture of myself as a child, reminiscing about being a child with my sister, doing something good, getting a good deal, being proud, talking about the past with old friends, laughing at a funeral, crying at a funeral, the moment right after you finally stop crying, how about the moment when you realize you don't care anymore? The next time, after the time you said would be the last, finally falling out of love, falling in love, being loved, loving, love, all love, any kind of love.
