Sleepless
A Poem
By Atomic HistorianPublished about a year ago • Updated about a year ago • 1 min read
Can’t sleep
Oh what a fright
To be up in the middle of the night
Without the slightest tingling
A little sensation
Of sleepiness
Oh, how I miss the days
Of instantly hitting the hay
But now everyday
The Sandman drifts further away
What am I going to do tomorrow
How will I get through my day?
What is wrong with this place
I can’t wait to get away
