An ode to my best friend

Wanderlust. The world is your oyster when you get around.

Every site’s a playground if you hit the town.

Whether fire, water, air or the gravel.

Your beauty unravels when you begin your travels.

Should we go to the beach? As far as your legs can reach.

If your heart demands the sands that’ll be the next land.

We really care for you. Wishing to hold you you here, but a lust for wander is what carries you.

If your wanderous spirit could it’d leave the world. Not possible yet, so you’ll just have to see the world.

Where to next? Make your selection. You can go anywhere you want, any direction.

A spirit way to free to be one of us. Butterfly away any day Ms. Wanderlust.
