Stream of Consciousness
Breathing in, I know I am breathing in.
Breathing out, I know I am breathing out.
*
The body relaxes, then the mind,
then the spirit,
*
as the track of affirmations begins
its gentle repetition.
*
Thoughts flicker by, intrusions from
the ego, the flailing of outdated
*
consciousness. Old patterns, old
thinking, old habits – reflections
*
within, mirroring the outer world.
They drift by, and I call back the flow
*
to this Eternal Present Moment, where
I am No One, I am No Thing, I am No Body,
*
only a part of the Consciousness that is
All Things. The Quantum. The Godhead.
*
Connected, an eternal soul living a
human experience, using my gifts
*
to heal the world – one
breath
at
a
time.

A poem that helps you breathe. Very relaxing, "an eternal soul living a human experience...." I love it.
