Sage Stone Wings

Carved from marbled jade

By Sydney FuriePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Carved from marbled jade

Each line treated with the utmost care

Every ounce of space

A representation of my love

For you

Memories of a

Moment that encapsulated us

Building the simple

Pleasures in an emerald capsule

Our home

It was wheeled and flawed

But it was truly what we desired

The path we dreamed of

Ocean, open doors, sweet, salty breeze

Inhale

We watched the sky fill

With soft rainbows and the light touch of

Hands caressing skin

The world forcing us apart but we

Trusted

Trusting in our love

Like one trusts in the sun and the stars

Never questioning

That with every sunset it will rise

Again

And my love did rise

I just didn’t realize it would be

Without your soul too

Our end etched for you to wear around

your neck

Sculpted in shades of

Vibrant pine and interwoven vines

The color of growth

Unexpectedly the setting of

Our fire

Allowing rebirth

A rising of the gradient of

Spring starting anew

Giving way to the freshest green leaves

Pure light

Self and selfless love
