humanity
Isn't it ironic that the very best of humanity is seen through the love and empathy we show to our pets?
As They Say, Who Rescued Whom? . Top Story - September 2021.
You really only get one reaction when you tell someone that you work for a dog rescue: their eyes light up and they smile. And it’s usually followed up with something like “That must be so rewarding.” That’s been my experience, anyway.

Our Pack. Top Story - August 2021.
My girlfriend and I came together ten years ago not knowing where our lives would take us. Never did either of us imagine the amount of fur we'd later surround ourselves with. Both of us had pets growing up and have a love for animals that runs deep. They are not just our pets, but our babies. The deal we make with them is very important to us. If you join our pack and share with us your unconditional love then we will provide for you all that we can and put your needs above our own. Our four dogs and two cats deliver on their promise with each passing moment and so do we. Let me tell you about them.

Pets, they are great
The kids are grown, have families and pets of their own, and are making their own pet stories. The pets of childhood are a pleasant and distant cherished memory. The photo above is from Unsplash, by a lovely lady, named Krista Mangulsone whom I do not know, but admire her taste in photography.

The Freedom of Working from Home
Sometimes it’s not the job that helps you impact the world, but sometimes it helps. Five months ago, I was working a job that was financially fulfilling, but emotionally draining. The ratio was no longer tolerable for me. I won’t go deep into it, but in the middle of a pandemic and at a time when my faith in my employer’s morality was at an all-time low, they announced our pay cuts. The lower pay rate was scheduled to begin on my first day back from a week’s vacation. I never came back from that vacation.

Coping with Cat & Dog Sibling Rivalry
As parents of human children, dogs, cats, or any type of animal, we want our babies to get along. We dream of them becoming best friends and are filled with joy when we see them playing together happily. My human kids went through various phases of loving and hating each other, leading to times of peace and chaos. I hadn’t considered that these phases would also occur with our pets. I was so naive!

A Precious Dog
I always said we were kindred spirits because I felt we had a lot in common. We were both older ladies; we've had babies multiple times and our bodies showed it; we had arthritis that at times became unbearable, just to name a few. On occasion, we would complain to each other about these things. Ok, I complained, she listened.

Why you must research before you buy a pet!
Let me start with this...I am a retired Master Groomer that worked for a large pet corporation for 13 years...I have seen it all, and yes I am pretty much an expert in dogs and cats skin and fur health, also as a groomer I know pet breeds and behaviors, so I was good at pairing the right breed with the right families.

Animal testing should be banned
Experimental animals are forced to endure pain and suffering and violate animal rights for the benefit of humans. Animal tests do not help humans either, as they have been shown to produce negative results because the human body and system are different from animals. Because humans and animals vary, negative results are the future of scientists who do not stop replacing animals with humans.

Is It Okay To Use Animals In A Circus?
French festival workers have warned that the impending ban on wildlife at moving shows could push their industry to the brink of collapse. This includes bears, leopards, and elephants, who are among the most disturbed creatures on the festival. Today, more than 700 wildlife species are on sale throughout the country, including some 500 large feline species. Show Sources
