dog
It's no coincidence that a dog is a man's best friend; they're more faithful than most other animals, and more faithful than many people.
Furry Companion
“You know what, Casey? If you were human, I’d marry you.” It was an odd thing for a thirteen-year-old to say, but I was very serious. For most of my young life, I had friends, but I was hardly close to them. I cared about my friendships, but I was too busy in survival mode to really create authentic relations. Between trying to pass my classes and not be a target for middle school ridicule, I didn’t have much time to actually mentally decompress. Going home wasn’t an issue, though. By the time I got home, I had about an hour or two before my mother got home from work. I looked forward to having dinner, but honestly, I valued my private time a lot more.

The ball that threw itself
Jordan and I walked through the seemingly endless rows of barking, jumping, and tail-wagging dogs, searching for the “one.” Most families congregated around the “green-collared” dogs—dogs with no major behavioral issues—introducing their shyly excited toddlers and young children to these mellow canine companions.

I do not know whether it is lost or abandoned Labrador, rescued after a car accident, the eyes are full of longing
Nowadays, it is very easy to bring home a pet dog, whether through online or offline, and people can always get a dog of their choice from various sources, depending on their situation and needs. However, unlike acquiring them, although there are more and more people keeping pets today, the cost of keeping them does not decrease with the increase in the number of people and pets, instead, the cost of keeping them becomes higher and higher because more and more people like them.

My Favorite Dog
Otto von Schultz started out to be my least favorite dog. At the time of our acquaintance, I owned three very large dogs, Draconis, Wilhelmina, and Stirfry. Draconis was a Rhodesian ridge back/golden retriever mix. Wilhelmina was a shepherd /pit-bull mix. Stirfry was so mixed that only God or a genetic testing facility would be able to sort him out.

The Only Survivor
One day my best friend was at her friend's house, and she let her Chihuahua, Maggie roam around knowing she was not spayed. As a result, my baby dog, Angelo, was conceived. At the time my artist boyfriend actually named him Michael Angelo after the artist. I just shortened it.He loves the name Angelo. He is a very happy dog.

To Chase The Rainbow
To my readers... although this is a fictional story, it is based on a real life dog named Sunshine. Sunshine was my first ever pet from when I was much younger, and is still my favorite to this day. He was acquired from a co-worker of my mom's... who found him and brought him in after his previous "owner" had abused and then subsequently abandoned him.
