The Value of a Feline Friend
10 years ago she was born. Was it really that long ago? It seems like yesterday I woke up to her mom, going into labor and then, out of a litter of 4, her being the only survivor. She was from the get go, a fighter. Her mom developed crystals in her milk, so wasn't able to nurse her baby. I spent 6 sleepless weeks bottle feeding this precious, newborn, black ball of fluff.

Horses: A Passion Left Untamed
Ever since I was young, horses have always been the center of my life. I collected toys and figurines as a child; then at the age of 9 I was finally able to start my equestrian journey. It didn't matter what I was doing with them, I was just grateful to be there. From the ponies to the draft horses, they all had a special place in my heart from the moment I laid eyes on them. They frightened me, they scared me, they made me proud of myself, there was no end to what could happen with them; good or bad.

Furry Friends
I don't just love animals, I'm a little obsessed with them. I have always been compelled to approach them, touch them, ‘talk to them’. I just want to be with them. Constantly. Nothing makes me feel more alive than being amongst animals. Whenever the local fair comes to town my grown up daughters leave me in the petting zoo while they go and look around the stalls or on rides. There is something very special about having an interaction with another being (from a different species to my own). It really makes my heart sing to have just a moment where I feel a connection to an animal through touch or eye contact or just being close to them. It is a thrill to be able to sit with an animal who feels comfortable with you. In that moment I feel as though we are communicating. We are in agreement that we are friends, we are both safe here with each other. It is a real honour to experience this for me. It gives me a feeling of acceptance, acknowledgement, without expectations. I am just being accepted for being me. There is nothing more rewarding to me than earning the trust of an animal.

Bad Dog CRAP (Not what you are thinking!)
Is it a disorder? The fact that I have too many hobbies? What can I say? I’m easily motivated. I admit that it’s hard to fit in so many hobbies. So what’s the solution? Well, combine a few of them. How can you combine dog training, woodworking and photography you might ask? And where do scissors fit in? It’s easy if you are just a little bit crazy. And, yes, some might say more than a little.

After being anesthetized, the mother dog still ran back to the puppies, insisting on finishing the last milk feeding
Many stray dogs wander the streets, even in the cold winter, they still need to look for food and hiding places. When Rebecca, who needed to go to the outskirts to work, drove through the road, he saw a scrawny stray dog trotting along the side of the road, and from time to time he looked back to look at the passing vehicles.

Pros and cons of teacup Pomeranian
Teacup Pomeranian is a tiny dog. It has several pros and cons, just like any other dog. There is nothing in this world that comes with pros only, and everything has cons as well. The purpose of reading pros and cons is to see whether you can adjust with this dog or not. Of course, pros make up your mind, and cons may change your decision about buying the dog. That's why I thought to share all the pros and cons of teacup Pomeranian that I've seen, so you can decide whether you should buy this dog or go for another one.

Cheltenham's Halloween
Cheltenham only loved one person in his entire life. He was not cuddly, he did not greet strangers warmly, and he was the only cat I’ve ever known who could convey an incredibly expressive indignance in his frown. This may not seem unusual to you, who probably knows similar cats, but you were not the only person he ever loved. I, and only I, had that incredible privilege.

The Ties That Bind
Being creative helps bring families together. And in this case, helps families stay together. I’ve always enjoyed creating gifts for my family and friends. My craft closet is full of brightly colored fabrics, soft yarns and a wide variety of colored markers, among other tools of the trade. I handmake Christmas cards every year, using brightly colored cardstock, fun rubber stamps and unique materials. When a new baby joins the family, I make something heartfelt to mark the special occasion. I recently had the opportunity to mark eleven special occasions at once.
