Cat A Log
Some Of The Pussy Cats I Have Met Recently

Introduction
I do this every so often. Every day I walk, and if I see cats, I take photographs and sometimes share them on Instagram with the hashtags #CatsInNam and #CatsOfVocal, but there are some strange things that come back with those hashtags:

It wouldn't let me link to the Instagram search.
The music is an Electro Swing Remix of "Everybody Wants To Be A Cat" from "The Aristocats"
These are my previous Petlife posts on Vocal if you want to look at the kitties (and other creatures) I have met over the years, and my apologies if there are any repeated pictures in this piece, but if they are good, they are good:

So A Little Cataloguery
I always try to walk at least seven thousand steps a day, but usually it is over ten thousand and often closes on twenty thousand, and in order to do this, I wander around wherever I am, sometimes visiting Hadrian's Wall and ruined Roman temples, but almost always, whatever the weather, I meet up with some cats.

Mostly they don't want to be petted, but one or two do like to be petted, usually because they think I have some treats in my shopping bag.
Cats are a great thing to keep me alert while I am walking. Sometimes they are a long way off. so they are very small on the images I take and share. Of course, I never venture on to provate property unless the owner is there and invites me on.

I am grateful that the camera on my phone can take such great pictures, with virtually no effort from me, apart from pointing in the vague direction of the subject.
You would think that the weather would be a major factor in whether they appear, but sometimes it can be really sunny, and there will be no cats, then other days it can be cold and rainy, and there are still cats sitting outside on their step, like these two.

Around this time of year, you often see cats disdainfully watching you through their windows. They are warm and cosy, wondering what that stupid human is doing in the rain and cold.

The last two were taken this morning when I was out to get some groceries, so you can see that I always get to see a cat or two.
One of the things is that, over time, cats on my walks disappear. Sometimes it is because they have moved, but I think that other times they have taken a walk over the rainbow bridge. Sadly, when cats reach their twenties, it is like us hitting our centenary. The thing is, they do provide us with great friendship, care and sometimes entertainment.

People often ask if I have a cat, and I tell them that I am too selfish to have a pet. However, Mrs P, pictured above, is an almost daily visitor, demainding tread, although she refuses to be petted by me.

Today
Apart from the window cats I showed you, these are a few that I saw on this morning's walk.

In Catclusion
This morning I saw a few cats, and they always cheer me up, and I hope they cheer you up as well. No doubt tomorrow there will be more, and maybe I will take a different walk.
The window cats today were the first time I had seen those three cats, and I was rather impressed with them.

Thank you so much for reading, and no doubt I will be sharing more with you when I see more.

Wonderfully done and made me smile. You can rewrite the popular song and make it To All the Cats I've Loved Before.
Cats are such cute creatures
