We are all a lotus flower in a time of global transformation.

We are all meant to flourish in this muddy time, just as the lotus flourishes.

The Gift of Time, Reflection, And Deep Inner Healing.

This is a time of a different kind of thinking than what most are used to. This is a time of learning how to trust and have faith that, despite what it may seem on the outside, we will all get through this time together. And become stronger, together.

It's in times of crisis that our minds and hearts are tested. Sometimes it is meant to break us, because much like a bone that has healed improperly, sometimes we need that correcting too. It hurts like a mofo at that first jolt when the doctor has to forcefully break the previously injured bone. When the body has had time to forge new bone between two fractured points, but does so in a way that was misaligned, it creates what's called a "malunion", and similarly when it fails to heal correctly, it is called a "nonunion".

Unfortunately, because the technology doesn't exist yet to fix these in a [faster and] less painful way, the only way out of this predicament is to have a doctor re-break the bond and restart the healing process over again in hopes that this time, (and maybe even with the right structure in place, a.k.a. - A splint) the bone will heal correctly. In the meantime, this calls for bracing yourself (If you had the chance to.) through the pain all over again, hoping, wishing, praying, that this time it works and for the pain to go away as fast as possible. So, naturally, painkillers come into play as well as any myriad of distractions from the pain. You get moody too, but I mean, hell, you have the right to after what you've been through! (Haven't you noticed that when any part of your body feels any bit off, your mood can take a hit too? I mean, duh! right?) It's all connected. Especially with the way the brain perceives its pain as well as its healing. See, the nervous system is hardwired to pay attention to make you focus on and go into the pain even when your natural inclination is to avoid it. Ironically, this is part of the integration-healing process. The inevitable pain. And, over time it evolves. The pain morphs and reduces incrementally. (And sometimes you may even find yourself having gotten so involved in a distraction that while the pain is still there, your new focus magically makes the old painful focus seem distant. Sweet relief.) This is the beauty of you. Your mind, and the way it is connected to your body. And the way you're connected to the world you exist in. Just like every limb on your body creates you, every person on this planet creates us as a society. (Whoa! Yeah, I'm getting existential up in here because frankly, right now is a point of MASSIVE existential awakening.)

Belief is a funny thing. It creates things. It creates the way you perceive reality. If you have faith in something, you may notice how there can be chaos going on around you but that you still have something to hold onto for comfort. Sure, you may still feel shaken. It's natural. You're human. And, its okay.

But what if you don't have faith? What can easily happen is the mind can go into a frenzy, looking in every possible direction, for direction. But, you have the ability to stop this commotion. Yes dear, you do. Often, it's easy to forget, that's all. While everyone's stampeding about like wild animals from jumanji fleeing, because they're all responding to each other's fear and becoming one big ball of each others fear, you have the option to go in a different direction. It's also like when you see a gigantic swarm of birds and they're all moving in some kind of giant wave. Which, by the way, this phenomenon is called a "maneuver wave". Where birds aren't actually following a leader. Rather, they're anticipating any sudden changes in the flocks overall direction. Sound familiar? Well, at its most basic level, we are evolved creatures of habit too. Yes, we still have very primal instincts that keep us alive. But not only alive, we've also got built in instincts for what would allow us to flourish in our lives. To feel fulfilled to our deepest core.

Anywho - I'm here, sending you a friendly and compassionate reminder :) That getting out of that exhausting mess is much simpler than the world is creating for everyone to believe.

See, the direction isn't found outside of you. (It's not found by the scary crowd of people stampeding about.) That's where everyone's collective chaos is stirring and brewing. It's not necessary to stay at that lame gross party that everyone's at. Just leave. You just need to do you. Go inside of YOU. There IS peace there. There is direction there. Not to mention, its YOUR direction. Yours alone. What YOU need. What's important to YOU. It's really been inside of you all along, and sometimes the outside world will trigger it inside of you. You might see something, or hear something, and a weird feeling arises. Because, its always been there, waiting for you to listen to it. For years even. Having proper time for reflection and processing of life as it occurs is something of a luxury in today's day and age. Why? Because we made it that way. We've been going long enough without giving ourselves time. Getting to know ourselves better. The real us. Well guys, now we've been given time. It's time to show ourselves some better love. Better attention. Better care. Better maintenance. Better appreciation.

We're made of complex material. Complex thoughts. But really its simple. Life is really about leading a happy and satisfying existence. You are meant to be happy. Its why you have desires (but, the key is to really sit with yourself to see whether the desire is something you really seek or if its part of the brainwashing). Its just that the world that we're in wants to keep telling us to not have what we truly want. To deny ourselves. That we don't deserve them. That its easier that way. That we're not enough. But, these are all just brainwashing materials meant to keep us in a feeling of persistent inadequacy to have us believe we need something - ELSE. Elsewhere. Not us. No. But really, its harder to live that way. Depression and anxiety is often stemming from a feeling of being disconnected both from ourselves and from each other. Because while we try to live in coexistence with this wild world, we've been forgetting ourselves. Ourselves have been sad that you're not listening to it. So, let's stop. And let's listen. :) Take space for yourself from the world. Tune into the frequency of you. <3

You are you. And noone else can be you. And those desires come from the place that knows you. The REAL YOU. The you that is happiest. The most fulfilled. Most at peace. Most stable. Most secure. Most valued. Most loved. And that is meant for us all.

And you're ready for it.

You've been ready.

That sadness and anxiety will dissipate incrementally as you continue to give yourself time to listen to yourself, to focus on you and to not let other's commotion affect you. (Just as the pain from re-breaking a bone to heal properly went away - as your focus was placed into something that gave you a better feeling.) Because, as you engage more with what brings you true happiness, your own joy increases. And when we each do this individually, it grows to fill the entire world.

You can trust yourself. You are following your own lead, out of the maze of confusion. Out of the chaos. Into your peace. Into your faith. Into your truth.

Hello, fellow lotus flower. We're in this together. Let's listen to ourselves, together. As we continue to grow, our buds will no longer be in the mud and we get to see each others beautiful blooms. <3

I have faith in you. And I have faith in all of us. <3
