Tarot For 2026

Three Blue Roses Tarot - My summary of 2025 - Queen of Air: You are a wordsmith, a clear communicator, and 2025 helped you shed any falsehoods in your life. You accepted the truth, no matter what it was, and you set and kept healthy boundaries for yourself.

My comment: I have to agree! Maybe not the part about being a wordsmith, but the part of accepting the truth, and setting and keeping healthy boundaries! And I do believe I am getting closer to being a wordsmith!😉I have written a lot in my retirement.

Note: The new deck this year has some newer categories. No career outlook, or family friends, but rather a community outlook.

My Tarot reading and comments for 2026:

Creativity Outlook - Ten of Air: This is a card of graceful endings and bright beginnings, and an end to old ways of thinking. It's time to see things with fresh eyes now because you know that something better can happen at any time, and your creativity is at the top of its game!

My comment: Wow, I was only recently thinking about how I would like to find an art that I would love to work on so that I could spend time doing that as a fun hobby. 

I am writing daily, so have I already found it; then just yesterday, a jeweler asked me if I would be interested in learning jewelry making from her. She is a bit older, and she wants to share her craft with someone interested.

Finances Outlook - Nine of Fire: This is a time to be cautious and to carefully look at your finances and spending. Can you improve on what you are doing, or is it time to try a new path?

My comment: This I have begun. Putting myself on a budget. Once the price of everything seemed to have skyrocketed, I got started. It had been years since I did this. The good news is that in recovery, I received the promise of having financial insecurity leave me. 

That doesn't mean I don't have to do the footwork for helping myself to stay solvent. It simply means that I don't have to spend time worrying about finances. I know that if I want to have a comfortable retirement, I will need to work part-time for extras.

Love Outlook - Eight of Earth: You have already mastered this in your life, but even masters can learn new things! Make a game out of learning new things with your partner, and try out things that interest both of you. There is always more to learn!

My comment: There is always more to learn! We have been together for 26 years, and what we did way back then isn't always doable today. We have separate interests and joint interests. Much of what we do together is family get-togethers and a weekly date night.

Recently, we have gone to a few more events, like an Elvis Christmas and a Georgette Jones performance. We would both enjoy doing more of that.

Community Outlook - Messenger of Fire: Are you ready for a new adventure? You'll find one waiting for you in your community. If none of those adventures interests you, create one of your own! Anything that brings a sense of community to you and those around you will enhance life for everyone.

My comment: A couple days ago when speaking with a sister friend, she asked if I may consider hiring on as a consultant. She would like me to talk to professionals about the importance of her program participants in doing their trauma, grief and loss work and ways to start that process.

Spirituality Outlook - World: This is the happiest card in the deck! You have the world in your hands and can choose any path you'd like. There isn't a wrong choice here. 

My comment: I believe I have a conscious contact with a higher power of my understand, and it has gotten even closer in the last few years with daily prayer and regular meditation. I am happy with this. 

January-March Outlook - Ten of Earth: You have worked so hard, and now you're about to be rewarded for all of that hard work. Sit back and let the blessings flow!

Comments: My book won't be finished. I may be close however!

April-June Outlook- Four of Air: This will be a time of rest and meditation, of allowing your mind to let go of all its busyness and find peace in the stillness. Rest and recuperate, and allow yourself to take in the beauty and the blessings all around you.

Comments: Great! I'll take it!

July-September Outlook - Eight of Air: This card calls for the end of denial and seeing things as they truly are. This may change your life in big ways or not at all, but listen carefully to the words you are saying to others and especially to yourself.

Comments: It is helpful to hear a recording of a talk I have been given to hear the denial and the gifts of my recovery.

October - December Outlook  - King of Earth: You may find that you are being called to be a leader, and this is also a time of manifesting and attracting abundance. You may also have a desire for philanthropy.

Comments: I am not interested in being a leader, as I have been there and done that. Abundance will be okay, but not necessary, unless it helps with the philanthropy I will be doing this year. I fund raise for cancer each year, and contribute to many charities, and visit the river weekly to pray for the water, healing and support for water walkers around the world.

Some of the part-time work I do does not pay well, and that is okay with me, however, to find a replacement when needed is more difficult with the smaller compensation.

Biggest Obstacle You'll Face - Seven of Water: Your biggest obstacle this year is going to be your creativity. Whether that means you are not being as creative as your soul would like or that you are so overrun with creative ideas that you freeze and don't know where to start, that depends on you!

Comments: I am well aware of this obstacle and I am working on it, and open to new adventures.

How to Tackle That Obstacle - Queen of Fire: The solution to your obstacle is collaboration and community. Don't be afraid to work with others or to ask others to work with you! Your soul is ready to co-create with the Universe and bring forth amazing things.

Comments: I mentioned my recent conversation with a jeweler above. I want more time to think about this, however, I am leaning in this direction.

Overview of the Year Ahead - King of Fire: This is going to be a wonderful, exciting year for you! You are so aligned with Spirit that you can do anything your heart desires. You may be called to be a spiritual leader, a creative leader, or both! Shape this year how you want it to go. Be your authentic, unique self, and what you create will change the world.

Comments: I have been in the leader position and in retirement prefer to not take the lead. I am open to sharing in community and in collaboration with others.
