One Thousand Paper Cranes
I made the final fold to form the crane's head, tossed it into the growing pile, and frantically grabbed a new square of paper. We had to finish in time, we just had to! I fought back tears. Origami wasn't something you could rush. I took a deep breath and continued making one meticulous fold after another, calming as I did so. We could do it. It would work. Just breathe.

Sacrifice To Achieve Success
Enjoyment, luxuries, pleasures, relaxation, fun, moments of satisfaction and peacefulness. These are the sort of things that we can't get enough of in life, because they indeed bring us happiness and joy, albeit for only a brief period of time here and there. From spending time with our friends, to lazing on the couch watching television, to gaming, to browsing social media, to dining out, and to sleeping in, these are all the type of activities that we can't get enough of, because they are easy, they are leisurely, and they require little effort and energy to do. Then we have the material things that we enjoy in life also, such as shopping for new clothes, treating ourselves to the new technological gadgets on the market, buying a new car, and shouting ourselves to brand name products. Oh how much more enjoyable life would be if we had millions of dollars to spend, and didn't have to worry about the likes of work, so we had more time to do the more leisurely and enjoyable activities in life? Such a life is a dream for so many of us. The issue is though, that for most of us, we don't have that wealth to live the high life that we desire, nor do we have that spare time up our sleeve to be spending on activities that involve little effort and energy, and that are good fun. We have that space invader on our daily schedule board that is labelled as "work", that we have a commitment to, and that consumes so much of our time. Perhaps work may not be so bad if we were raking in the dollars, but again, for most of us, that's not the case. So we are left with the situation that we continue on spending so much of our time at work, earning only enough income to get us by, and experiencing those few moments here and there where we can do some of the more enjoyable activities, and perhaps shout ourselves to the odd treat here and there. We hang our happiness hat on the weekend, annual leave, and that occasional shopping spree, basically. Not much of a life really, but that's the way how so many of us live. The truth is, we can live a life of prosperity and happiness if we want to, but most people choose not to, not for the fact we don't want such wonderful rewards and blessings, but for the fact we aren't prepared to change our ways, our habits, our mindset, and our attitude.

Finding Our Unique Sense of Serenity
Finding Our Unique Sense of Serenity Serenity is an ever-elusive concept for many of us. It's a word we may hear often from other people and those giving us advice, but to truly achieve it is another thing entirely. Life is hard and sometimes the only goal is to survive the day-to-day, let alone contemplate any kind of serenity. Maybe we have been too busy in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives to even consider it an option. Maybe circumstances outside of our control have left us unable to find our footing. Whatever the reason, taking the time for ourselves is vital to ensuring we are being our best selves in both the present and future.

Into the woods I go, to lose my mind and find my soul
Even as I tie my shoes, I can feel a little bit of stress leaving my body. It was a rough week in the hospital. I never imagined that I would be a frontline worker in a worldwide pandemic. Every day I walk into work feeling scared, stressed out, overwhelmed, and emotional. Minute by minute things are changing, and I have to learn my job over and over again. Everyday we are seeing more and more cases and the fear grows deeper in all our hearts. A couple of the other girls I work with quit today. They just could not handle it anymore, physically, or emotionally. The fear of taking this deadly disease home to their children and husbands was more than they could bare.

The Tale of the Honey Bee and the Butterfly
Once upon a time, there was a honey bee working hard to bring the honey back to its comb. The bee worked and worked for several hours with barely any time for its family, he knew that his colony depending on it. One day, the honey bee was so exhausted from many long days of pollen collecting, that he sat down for just a moment of rest... relaxing under the warm sun, he dozed off. Several hours passed, not realizing that he was fast asleep, he dreamt about a perfect world where he had created a gadget that made collecting pollen an easy and simplified process; the Pollen-Extractor-Thingamajig! "At last!" said the bee, "I have discovered a way of bringing much pollen to the colony and I will be the hero!" Off he flew into the meadow above a field of marigold flowers, the honey bee seeing how many there were, he knew this would be a breeze.

Gabi Jeweler Making a Name for Himself in The Boston Diamond District
Famously known on social media as “Gabi Jeweler”, the motivated, entrepreneur has an exceptional jewelry store located in the center of Diamond District of Boston, Massachusetts. Starting his business in 2009, Gabi faced many obstacles because of the recession going on at the time. Like anyone else starting a business during this time, he was taking a major gamble. Although he knew this would be a challenge, Gabi set out to change the game for jewelry on the East Coast. Setting up a super small booth, it took almost 2 months for Gabi to make his first sale as a jeweler. Not letting this deter him, Gabi only used it as motivation to better his practices. Gaining customers' trust when you are new to an industry can be difficult, another hurdle Gabi had to jump. Realizing that honesty was the best policy to do business by, Gabi began to show his customers what he was all about. Being upfront and direct about the products he was selling made no room for confusion for his clients. World-famous Investor Warren Buffet once said, “If you don’t know Jewelry, know the Jeweler.” Having a solid track record in the jewelry game will go a long way. Most customers do not know jewelry themselves, making it easy to manipulate them on a sale. On the other hand, Gabi does good by all his clients, that way whenever someone needs jewelry and asks, he is the recommended jeweler.

Just a slice of the pie
In 2016 me and my girlfriend left our hometown to set out on a journey. We faced Many struggles even before leaving. The landlord of my building illegally evicted me and then turned around and called the police and filed a police report of breaking and entering on me. I would later find out a warrant was issued for my arrest with no paperwork to prove different. We left Michigan on a greyhound bus and set out on a journey that would forever change our life’s, with no money, no shelter, and no job our family completely turned their backs on us. Once we arrived in Tennessee we immediately started to get to work. Looking for jobs, calling shelters, missions and anything we could do to progress forward.

Perfect Night Routine for College Students
Being an undergrad, my days are rarely something similar. I generally have something other than what's expected going on every evening and I generally appear to be hitting the sack at an alternate time. I felt like I was completely getting nothing, and afterward in the first part of the day, my life would in any case be a wreck! Then, at that point I understood a particular arrangement of assignments I could do to make my evenings more valuable for my mornings and complete the most, and I recommend you follow it! Here is the ideal night schedule for undergrads!

Learning Patience by Walking on the Edge
As a child overwhelmed with curiosity, while growing up in a calmer and slower world, I had a lot of patience. Although I had an impatient life, I still managed to control my emotions because I believed that's the best way to learn.
